i think i made a mistake

getting rid of my ereader when i had the ipad because now i get distracted by the internet and games on the ipad so tell me which ereader you prefer kindle or another brand

I bought a Nook because my library is doing ebook for free and it didn't work with the Kindle... but I've mostly been downloading those books to my iPhone and reading on that because it's always with me. And I prefer it when I'm in bed because it's backlit like the iPad.

I just cannot get over the preference for a real book... I am really old fashioned, I guess. As for the distraction, there's nothing that can keep me from a good book, but I can see how you get distracted with the iPad.

I prefer the Kindle - the backlighting of the Nook bothers my eyes after a while, and I like Amazon's ebook store better than Barnes and Noble.

I have the kindle on my Droid X phone so it is smaller than the typical kindle but I still love it. It took some getting used to at first but now I just like the ease of taking it with me anywhere. I can get distracted checking an email or something at times so I know that feeling.

I <3 my Kindle! It's ridiculously easy to convert ebooks into Kindle format, I love the screen... I can't say enough about it. I love it.
