But we did... buy a trampoline! The kids LOVE it! I still cringe a little when I see them bouncing because I see kids (and sometimes adults) break so many bones when they aren't used properly but my kids have been in gymnastics for over 3 years now so they are familiar with them... :) Plus they are a great cardio exercise and fun for the adults too! :)

Fun!!! My aunt had one when we were kids - and I wish she would have had that guard around it. I am famous in my family for falling off the trampoline! :)

I cut my chin wide open on a trampoline (you could even see the bone) when I was 7 and it did scar, but eventually it sorta went away with old age, lol. So, we've never had a trampoline but, our kids jump at the neighbors all the time. :)

I have to say, these modern day trampolines are pretty sweet, and the guard rails around them are way cool.

I bet your kids are so excited! btw, cute doggie, too! :)

I love to get on the one at my sister's house and jump with the kids. I know it is great exercise and it makes me feel like a kid again!

I grew up with one, and I love them! But the first time that MY kids got on one, I nearly had a stroke, lol. I hope you guys love yours!

Yours looks pretty safe, as trampolines go. My kids LOVE jumping on the one at their aunt's house, but it does freak me out a bit, since the spring covers and side nets are not totally intact. We definitely have to make sure they restrain themselves and don't get too wild when they use it. They'd love to have one of our own, but our yard is small, not level at all, and has no shade, so even if we were so inclined, it's just not very workable.

it would be nice if they made a trampoline to go under the trampoline in case someone falls off or through! i can remember falling off of these things with one leg going through the spring spaces and the other leg going off the trampoline. :giggle This one looks so much safer than the ones I would play on as a kid.

Ummm, yeah, I had that same resolve, but we bought one over the summer and my kids play on it for hours on it - kinda fabulous. ;)

i felt the same way when we got one ...got over it (almost) eventually. our net went to pot after me literally stitching it back up and up and over and under and over and up and everywhere else (i should have taken a pic) and we got rid of the entire thing. haven't picked up another but i've been thinking maybe sometime soon.

Cool! Fun stuff for the family!

I bought Kennedy a little one for Christmas and he loves it. He's still pretty scared of falling, so he's cautious for now. But he has a blast when the music is going and he can jump to his heart's content instead of getting in trouble for jumping on the furniture. :)

Wear those kids out!

so fun ... we had one growing up too - and i loved it ... although we definitely did some dangerous things on it that i would not suggest (climbing up on the roof and running down to land on trampoline ... what the heck?!?) ... i also tore my ACL on one when i was in college, but i think that it was more user error than the trampoline's fault (spring break!)

Fun, fun, fun!! WE are going to buy the same trampoline for our girls!!
What a pity my neurologist forbidden me it because of my cervical spine. :dizzy

How fun! My boys would LOVE one, but our backyard is kinda tiny, so we're going to have to hope a friend of theirs gets one. :)

This just made me smile big time since yesterday afternoon I got on the trampoline at our neighbors house with 3 of my grandsons (6, 5, 3) and had a fun time and laughed so hard. Hey, I didn't do too bad for an almost 47 y/o grandma! LOL :)
