I spent all day house hunting... and I am pooped!!:groan we drove 2 hours with 3 kids to spend 6 hours looking at 7 houses. i'm feeling a bit blah about it right now... seems everything that is definitely in our price range is junk, and the few that i like (but not love) are really pushing the high range of what we want to spend. uggh! i am definitely not feeling encouraged right now :cry

i think we're going back on sunday for a few more. we've just started and i'm ready for this whole relocation thing to be over!! :helpy

It seems like that is always the case for us, too. We've been looking around for a while and I still haven't found something I really want.

ugh hopefully you can take some time to continue to look... and settle but not too much!
 
Aww, sorry things didn't go well today. I hope you find the house of your dream ASAP :)
 
Uggggghhhhh. That does not sound like fun.

Just make sure you look just at location first. You can always remodel things later, but you can't move it out of the neighborhood...kwim?

thanks ladies! i think hubby is recovering from his milk panic attack after we calculated the monthly payment :giggle he is starting to warm up to the idea... probably because it feels like there are no other options. we'll see what comes up. unfortunately, time is a bit limited, so we can't wait too long. oh well. it's not the last house we'll ever be in, so we can settle (a bit, like you said amy, but not too much - at least i hope).
 
Sorry it didn't go well. We have to start that process in a couple of weeks. I hope you find something!

The first (and only) house we bought was the one I grew up in - so luckily we didn't have to deal with any of that!
 
oh i`m so sorry for that :( i`m just searching for a new flat now and i can feel your pain... its totally the same for me here
