And it felt so good!!

Don't worry though I kept the original :rollin :lol

But when I sat down, to create some collage art with my Salvaged Library Card Series, I was really inspired by my digital background from my finished digital layout . . .

So I decided to print a version without the elements and the photo that I could use as 'collage fodder'.

And pair it with some items of my own . . .

What a fun and unique process . . .

You might know that Lynn and I offer premium articles as part of our e-mail list, and if you'd like to learn how to stretch your digi stash with ideas like this, and watch videos of me creating why not consider joining us. Here is the article that supported this project.

If hybrid crafting is your jam, take a peek at this gorgeous hybrid page from Theresa about things foraged from Walmart . . .

Take a peek at these gorgeous digital pair of pages from Lynn herself, the first, documenting Tim and his ‘niece’ Jess on the way to the beach.

And her husband is always searching for ways to add calm and peace to his life, and Tim has brought so much of that. He is a ‘street dog’, with his care shared between three households on our short, dirt road in the forest.

After an unexpected forage through old photos Lynn found this this beauty of DH's great-grandmother and was surprised how much she looks like her eldest, now she is older.

In our premium articles, Lynn also goes into much more detail about her creative practice and often films herself creating.

Here's some other pages using our new Kit 'Forage' that our friends have been creating!!

From Carol:

From Sylvia:

From Tiffany:

From Aly:

It's a very interesting theme and whilst there are so many art journaling avenues to explore prompted by our new mixed media kit, ‘Forage’ not every page you create has to be ‘deep and meaningful’, you can also use it to explore the little things in everyday life that you have found joy or meaning in.

Just think about what you need, what have you found and what have you picked up or discovered as you travel through life?

If you do love hybrid crafting, you can also find Letter Size papers and print ready sheets for elements but some bonus collages to play with!!
