I am always very adamant about going to church, but today I woke up not feeling too hot and just feeling like I needed a sick day! So, I'm scrapping and having a nice quiet day.

Has anyone else ever done this or am I the only bad girl around here? :eg9

Well, not necessarily church (I'm an atheist) but I skip all sorts of other things in favor of scrapping. I do it frequently, actually. When I took a shower this morning I put on a pair of knit capris and a t-shirt and Tom was like "Not planning on going anywhere today?" and I was all "No way!"

LOL My hubby can usually tell when I'm planning on scrapping too. He says I get this determined look on my face. LOL

I had to teach Sunday School today, but I've been known to skip on some Sundays when I don't have to teach

I'm with you Paula! My husband is gone hunting and I was not even going to entertain the idea of wrangling three little girls 5 and under at church! :) Guess I do need to get off my computer for a while though and at least do my bible study! Have a great rest of your day and don't feel too guily - God made a day of rest for a reason!

Yep, although not for church (we don't go). At my old job, when I had quite a bit of sick time banked up, I was known to take a mental health day every now and again! :giggle Hope you enjoyed your skip day!

I also don't go to church... but I love to play hooky for other things.

I didn't play hooky today, I was in classes all day. It was so worth it I couldn't!! they entirely changed by curriculum but to me it was so exciting I couldn't miss it :happydance I think I should skip work next week tho! hehehe

I'd skip anything to scrap!! We are all going camping after Christmas and I sure wish I had a way of getting out of that to have some kid free scrap time! Camping is so not my thing! I don't think DH would be impressed though :(
:giggle

lol I wish nearly every sunday I could stay home to scrap! Dont get me wrong I LOVE going to church but its the getting there KWIM?

I know what you mean Shanna! Some Sundays it's a job just getting there. LOL

Here what you are saying to Shanna. It's a good thing my husband and I don't agree to often on when to skip church or we might do it more often, lol. We inspire each other.

I used to skip all kinds of things in favor of scrapping, but my family doesn't allow me anymore. They make me feel bad about it, and they are very good at it. It's sad!
