i often have trouble paying with points can you help me please/

i have been trying to pay with points..i have tried on other orders...i have emailed lily pad but have not ever heard what to do...can someone help me

i have a screen shot of the page but dont know how to attach it here

but i was trying to buy the collab homemade with love..it is $6.39

it says order is 1597.50 to pay with points

it says i have 1935 points so i think that means i have enough points but when i try to pay with points it says i dont have enough...this has happened to me several times before..

I've never been able to make it work by putting in the exact amount of points. What I've done in the past is put my total number of points in (so in your case 1935) and then it should just deduct the points and leave you with the balance.
 
oh ... sort of counter intuitive but thanks sarah i can try that and see what happens...
 
Hi Bobbie :)

Please make sure there is nothing else in your cart, it need to be just that one item. If you have a balance paypal won't recognize your points and it will go back to the original amount after you transfer to paypal from the store. Let us know if that works!
 
yeah, that's the way I do it, if you put the exact amount it say it's not enough.
 
Yeah I paid with points last week and I put in my total balance like the other girls said (way more than I needed) and it worked fine :) - good luck with it, its such a great treat!
 
I think it only takes whole numbers and not fractions so you have to round up when you pay with points
 
ok...i have been trying these suggestions and still need your help...i put two things in my cart...one was on sale and it cost 1.50 sale price the other was full price 4.99..i put in all my points as it says in this forum ( more than enough for the order) and i get message i dont have enough points and it will deduct my points and i need another way to pay...so i do that/check pay pal...it shows that it is taking off the 4.99 item and now i owe 1.50

but when i go to pay pal it is charging me the entire 6.49

so now i am thinking the following

can you use points on an item on sale?

you cant really use partial points cause paypal doesnt know how to deal with the remainder so it only works if entire order is full price and you have enough points for entire order...is this make sense...or is this correct..
