I am starting to get worried about what to get my daughter for Christmas... she really doesn't NEED anything... her birthday (8th) was last month so she'd set on clothes... her room is always a mess so I don't want to give her toys or such...
she got her ears pierced for her birthday so the grandmas got her all sorts of earrings for Christmas....
what she's got under the tree so far is 2 training bras (she asked for them), and a purse for her diabetes supplies... Santa is giving her a cheap MP3 player, Red Mango gift card, and a Vera Bradley wallet...
We thought about giving her a new bed set, but we did that for for my step son with out being a "gift" so that doesn't seem fair....

any ideas???? what are you giving your kids this year?????

maybe a target gift card? that way she can pick out what she wants. lol im doing that with my kids cause they change what they want everyday:| my youngest will get some stuff to open but he got a Tony Hawk wallet with a Toys r us gift card in it. he will want to go on xmas to shop but that isnt happening LOL

Is she a reader??

What about the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Books...the newest one came out last month. We got the set of my step DD last year so she is getting the new one and the newest movie this year.

Also I saw some really cute girly crafty stuff at Target the other day from Crayola:

If you're interested in the Crayola stuff make sure you like their FB page...one of the coupons this week if for a Pop Art Pixie product!

I wondered about Crafty Kinda of things too.... my oldest has been reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series and is getting the latest book for Christmas.

She is a very crafty girl... she has asked for a Bob Ross paint kit... she wants to paint like Bob Ross (and has for awhile) but I don't think she's responsible enough for acrylic paints yet... when she turns 12 we can sign her up for the local Bob Ross technique paint classes. She is to young now! How funny that my kid idolizes Bob Ross!

We have given my DD (8) money or vouchers before and taken her on a shopping trip after Christmas! Her birthday is at the start of December so it's always a bit of a crazy month for her. Although I was always dead set against giving money, it has worked really well for her. Sometimes she has wanted to save up for something big (an iPod last year) and other times she spends it on little bits and pieces over a period of time.
