...it's January and we can go to the beach, and not need to be on vacation to do so! The water was actually really warm. We didn't swim, but the kids loved to splash around and walk in the water. Best part is that it's on base and a really short drive from our house.

JEALOUS! Snowy like a mofo here. Although the sun has finally come out.

It is, Stacy! We just moved here at the beginning of the month. We came from the middle of the desert in CA so we're loving being on the coast again.

I LOOOOOVE Florida!!! In fact, we're from Richmond, Virginia and first moved here in FL. in 2005. Moved back to Richmond to be with family for about a year and a half and realized we just missed it too much. So we picked up our stuff and moved back into our house down here (luckily we only rented our house here so it was an easy move).

i love the summer. . . but, here in Utah we are really trying to enjoy the winter snow. our little family all enjoyed the slopes on Saturday together for the first time! what a great day!

I am so jealous! We are gonna try to move to Florida in 5 years. :) We have family that might move down there in as little as 6 months. :) I just want to be able to do stuff like that! The midwest in Winter is insanely depressing for me!

That looks so wonderful! Today the temps climbed to 65 degrees and EVERYONE who has a motorcycle was riding! It was a gorgeous Sunday!

Yep...I love being a California girl! My summers might get a little warm, but the rest of the year is absolutely gorgeous.

oh, I´m jealous, too. We have to drive so far to go to a real beach (almost 700 km from here) and I loooove the beach (luckily my grandma is living at the baltic sea so we can visit her every summer and swim there)

it's been such a mild winter here. i think we've had snow on the ground for a cumulative 2 days. lol. does that even count for winter?? (not that i'm complaining!)

while there's no beach to speak of here in the middle of IN, i do love that the kids have been able to play outside so much without FREEZING! still though i'm ready for spring to roll in. i miss flowers and green grass and blue sky!
