I'm an Amazon Prime Christmas shopper, but oh a whim today, I picked up some little stocking stuffer toys for my kids...
It begins...................
what about you?
have you started?

I have a list of what I'll be getting the kids, so now it's just looking for the best prices, and coordinating gifts from other family members that may be shopping for my kids. Also, start thinking about the annual Christmas ornaments, scheduling time to make them, making sure I have all the addresses for cards. Etc. I hit up the clearance at Target last weekend for stocking stuffers...

A huge shopping center just opened a block away and they had big grand opening sales, so I think we're done shopping for the kids!

Yes! I started about a month ago and grabbed a couple of things via Zulily. I love that place - anyone shop through them? If not, seriously sign up - HUGE savings and many items you can't get somewhere else. Here is my invite link

I have a "pre-cart" saved for Target for online shopping, they sent out the black Friday ads today and let you list them. Since it is just me and hubby at home now, I don't really go out on Black Friday anymore. My daughter and I went one time when she like 14 (?) she was not a happy camper. I may be able to talk her into this year, it sounds fun!

I love to Black Friday shop. Of course we do ours at the outlet malls and we actually bring our own carts LOL I hate having to walk back and forth to the car and on top of it worry about someone stealing your stuff when you leave it. There are 3 of us and we each bought our own carts and we literally fill them up to the point of things being hanging off the edges and handles because the basket is too full for anymore. Lately though I have been doing more Best Buy shopping because my kids are older now.

I haven't started and I am not in the mood to start either. I feel MEH!

I haven't started... but we are doing Christmas Eve PJ's... then Want, Need, Read and Wear. My parents spoil them... and it saves us some money. It's been nuts in the past and we gotta rein that in a bit!

Since my kids grew up, holidays are pretty low key around here, we don't make a big deal out of any of them anymore. I picked up a couple things for my daughter in January, and a couple things for other family members last month. I've pretty well decided what to get for everyone else, it's just a matter of placing the orders or going to the stores....as for Black Friday, you couldn't pay me to go to a store, even if I didn't have to work. Just call me Grinch. ;)

I want to start doing this... but i feel right now the things on my list are good for a toddler. So I'm okay that I didn't start that method this year. I think next year though! And we also love the pj/movie box!

For black Friday, I will probably go to the craft stores. And target. And best buy. Haha. cause I'm crazy!

I love Black Friday, but am happy to report that I am almost done with everything!

What?!?! That is so many kinds of wrong. We are not hearing you :ignore

bwahahahaha! That really is awesome, but that also means you have to spill it. Did you buy one mass thing or are you that well organized and now need to teach us you methods? :notworthy

We're well on our way to being done with the kids and have picked up a few things for other family members as well. We have Christmas in Michigan and will be there 12/19-1/2. We shop early so we can take things up there a few things at a time each trip. We did a ton of shopping about a month ago so my husband could take a load up when he went to winterize the house a couple of weeks ago. We buy quite a bit at Christmas and in past had carted it all to Michigan which had us crammed into the car when we came back. This year, we decided to only take the stuff that stays in Michigan and a few fun things (and consumables) for Christmas morning. We'll have a second Christmas when we get home. I know that sounds a bit excessive, but I've always restocked the kids with necessities at Christmas time (dance tights for my daughter, socks, underwear, new toothbrushes, etc.). I have to buy that stuff anyway, might as well wrap it up! :-) That's the kind of "fun" stuff they'll be getting at their second Christmas.

Amazon Prime is where a huge chunk of our Christmas shopping is done. We've started some of the process, but to be honest, my kids don't really want a lot. I've already purchased some lego things for them throughout the year and they are both getting new tablets (a much needed upgrade). It's a miracle they are undetected, and in plain site. We constantly have work related packages delivered here, so I just let them believe that all packages are work related and they don't question it. :giggle
We have actually discussed going to Disney for Christmas (or some sort of family trip) for the holidays. It's still up in the air, so I don't think we will pull it off this year.

Kudos to those above that are done or almost done. :goldstars
