crazy end of the month...

a small roller bag i take to nyc when i babysit for my grandkids got stolen...it had my ehd with my pics and scrapbook supplies and scrapbook pages on it... and my ipad...very upsetting but i know worse things can happen..fortunately i back up with back blaze. it took a week, cause i have so much data, but they sent me an ehd with all my stuff.... please everyone make sure to do off site backups... sh__ happens!

our daughter had a baby...yahooooo.... all went well...feb 24 little asher was born weighing 6 lbs 13 oz. joy and more joy... mom and baby all doing great

we had a horrible rain, wind and lighting storm wednesday night that knocked out our power till friday...so no internet etc

but now hopefully i am back and looking forward to march challenges...

missed scrapping and being on the boards..
 
Boo, and Yay! Welcome back! I finally gave in & got Backblaze too a couple weeks ago.
 
Omigoodness! I'm so sorry, I'm so happy you had back up, and congratulations on Asher's arrival! So much to do and all that cute little baby cuddling!
 
What a great reminder! Sorry for the lost items and headache, but so glad you got your photos and pages back!

Congratulations on your new grandbaby!!!! Eeep that is super exciting! Bet you have loads more photos to scrap now too!

oh oh I misses you so much, hate about the loss, but so excited to see pics of baby Asher!! hugs and may good things multiply for you now!
 
Wow! What a whirlwind. I hate that you had your bag stolen, but I'm so glad you did an offsite backup and didn't lose anything permanently! Phew! And super big congratulations to a new grandbaby! Yay! :)
 
Man that stinks...so happy you had a backup! I just recently started adding my photos to Amazon Prime Photo. I hope to avoid losing my precious photos, too.

I'm sad it was stolen, but I'm so happy you have a happy ending of an off site backup!

And new baby snuggles are always worth being a little MIA. I'm glad you are back.

I am so sorry about your stuff being stolen! That is terrible!!! It is a good reminder to back up though and your attitude is great! Congrats on the grand baby!! I hope baby and mama are both doing great!
 
Grand baby? excellent. Stolen bag. Boo hiss. But backup? priceless! I've read too many posts from people who didn't back up. This reminds me to make another (!) portable end backup to give to my son as off site storage. It's so so worth it.
