Karen Marie Moning said she did not want him to play Barrons ...there was a post on her facebook page. Apparently there was a heated debate from some girls about wanting him.

Okay folks, I’m being forced out of writing to make a quick statement.
While I think Jason Momoa is attractive (and many other actors are attractive) neither myself nor the Admin team favor Jason Momoa for Jericho Barrons. For the record: We are not part of the Momoa for Barrons campaign and just because there is so much activity on my wall about him doesn’t mean we encourage it. We don’t. There are simply a lot of avid Momoa fans on this wall. Truth is, avid is a mild word, you guys are fans, and fan only needs four more letters to be fanatic, LOL! Please folks, do not have a war on my FB page over who you see as Barrons. I love your passion and enthusiasm but the emails are getting impossible to address. People are asking us to say ‘this is exactly why we removed this post, and if you do exactly this or don’t do exactly that, you can do anything else you want.” Others want a list of rules so that if we remove a post they can determine whether or not they feel it was in violation of the rules and lobby for it to be restored. This is not a democracy. It’s Facebook. Others want to know precisely to a number how many posts they can make in a day before one will get removed and they’re emailing us to say they’ve counted how many posts others have made over the past month and we’re not being fair. They propose we now need to count everyone’s posts over a certain 24 hour period and be sure everything is equal.
There are nuances on a FB wall, and we don’t miss them. We see what goes on here, and on peripheral pages. We’re usually remarkably aware of the factions that have sprung up and the tensions between them. Anything Admin feels is excessive, antagonistic, subtly snarky, will be removed. Up until now, we’ve tried to respond to each and every email but we can’t do it anymore. The volume has grown too great. The bottom line: this is my FB wall and if we see a trend occurring that is causing tension, if we see one of those subtle power plays going on, Admin has free reign to nip it in the bud. No, it won’t necessarily be ‘fair’ or pain free but pruning is about the health of the tree. I love this community and I love you guys so we will do what it takes to keep our cyber-tree a healthy place for the monkeys to climb. (I include myself in those monkeys
Now, I have to get back to the writing cave. I have lots of good stuff coming up for you! David, my web guy was in all weekend working with me on various projects, and we recovered hard drives and zip files back to the early 90s. You wouldn’t believe some of the stuff I found to include with Into the Dreaming!
Addendum: I didn't realize this would be construed as being about the Momoa = Barrons page. The only reason I mentioned that page is because the primary person complaining was complaining constantly about that page and accused me and my admins of being part of it, either involved in it or supporting it. We're not. But I didn't mean to stir negativism against the page. I love the folks who run it, just like I do the rest of you, except for the people who try to step in and be Admins when they're not my Admins. That's what this post was really about.
