I'm so impatient. We have to have a TV repair tech come look at our TV the the movers destroyed during the move so the moving company can reimburse us. Of course, they only come to the house. And, of course, we live on the military base so I have to go meet him and get a pass to come on. He's supposed to call 30 minutes out and the window ends in 60 minutes. Grrrrrrr. :waiting

It's nice that I work from home on Fridays and all, but I'm still annoyed.

I hate that, too, Shannon.

It always happens that no matter what they tell me that they always come smack dab in the middle of Miss Monkey's nap. DH's dog barks abt everything, so then I'm trying to keep an eye out the window, have to take the dog outside when I see the repairman coming up the walk, and then be at the door to answer it. Let alone have decent-ish clothes and a bra on so as not to strike the man blind. :giggle

Haha! The best part is that I called the guy and he starts going on and on about how he's so slammed today and he has to finish up the call he's on, do another one and then he "saved me for last". Lucky me. :eyeroll

I suppose as long as he can determine that the tv was, in fact, damaged in the move and we get our money then it's worth it in the end.

Gah! One of my all time pet peeves is waiting around for these guys... seriously???? I would be happy if the time frame was like 8-12 instead of 9-5 or something like that... Has he been yet?

He did show up - 30 minutes late. And the cost for the repairs? Ready for this?? $4,200. Seriously. To fix a TV (WHY would anyone pay that? You can buy 4+ TVs for that price!). At least we don't have to pay - the moving company will just likely give us the money that we originally asked for.
