When teachers are throwing all kinds of projects, exams, tests, events all in the last two weeks of school.

So far I have sewn a costume, helped write a report and make a board for Vasco Da Gama. Then I got to go watch my son in action along with 9 other famous classmates.

Now tomorrow my DD has a paper/project/speech on Ptolemy due, a music concert, and a replication of a sheild. We will be up late tonight. Oh and earlier this week it was all about studying for a history exam.

Tomorrow my other son has Spring Activity day. Luckily I just volunteered my dough this year. He had three tests this week and finished their reading book. (He's in 2nd grade.)

Then my oldest starts exams next week.

Not to mention all of the 1st of the month goodies happening here. Whew I'm exhausted. Is it summer yet?

:dizzy

Am I the only one?

OMG that's psycho! My girls are only grade 2 so I'm yet to experience this sort of stuff!
But I do remember when I was at school..and I would come home from school after handing in a project or something and Mum would always ask what grade 'we' got! Good luck with it!!

It is summer here. Today is the first day. Sigh. I'm hoping we have a lot of good pool time but the weather channel is saying thunderstorms. And yeah, the twins last day of school was filled with games, crafts and cleaning the school room for next year. Wha???? Anyway, hold on dear!

I can't believe all the things you have going on. My oldest is in Kindergarten and it seems I am sending her to school these last two weeks to do nothing. They seems to have finished up most of their 'education' and now are cleaning the classroom out and coloring the sidewalks during music time. I wish they would just send them home now for summer, but they have another full week next week.

geesh! you're making ME tired!! around here it's just the opposite (at least so far... my oldest is only in 3rd, so maybe it will get worse?). i feel like they haven't done ANYTHING for the past week, and it's kind of a waste for us to be sticking around for the end of the year when we could have been moved already! they've already turned in their library books, they've discontinued homework. and they're 'reviewing' in class. love it.

Yeah. I hear you about them having to go to school when there is nothing to do. That is so annoying too. I have two in public school, so next week will probably be a breeze for the younger one. The oldest is in high school and the last week is very busy for them with exams. But the middle two children go to a charter school and they really do work up to the last minute. One year, my DD had a paper due the last day of school.

I'm really not sure what is worse, to much to do, or nothing to do, lol.

I just finished the busy phase you are going through - class picnics, programs, projects, etc. Now school's out and the inmates are running the asylum here. I find I am more busy with them at home.

My boy's been out for a week now, but he did have so much going on, I took a ridiculous amount of time off work to be at various activities those last two weeks.
