I can't charge my MAC... geezz!! I doubt I will be able to scrap anytime soon :(
 
uh oh! I recently had to order a new charge cord for my macbook and thank the Lord for $3.99 overnight shipping w/ Amazon Prime. It's ridiculous what the charge cords cost though!! Hope you get it fixed asap!
 
oh no!! my dad had a similar problem recently. have you tried to remove the battery and then plug in the charger.
for some reason this worked for my dad. it was really odd. the laptop would not turn on at all as the battery was dead. The light on the charger was working so my husband suggested removing the battery, powering on the laptop and then putting the battery back in. it worked like charm.

at any rate, hope it's an easy fix.
 
That's no good! I hope Trista's suggestions help! Or something works!
 
The lights on my battery is not on.. :( and it's gonna cost me a lot to get a new one... My mac book battery isn't removable like the old ones.. aarrrggghhh!!!
 
Their cables tend to go bad if they are not wrapped "correctly". I am so sorry!!!!!
 
Oh that stinks! I'm sorry!! Hopefully a new cord will do it? Maybe they could test it for you with a new cord before you buy one?

LOL!!! you are RIGHT!! I started TWITCHING ... then I couldn't wait for another cord from a friend who had a spare one.. so I was FIDDLING WITH the old cord that was wonkie... and now.. it's WORKING BUT I CAN'T MOVE IT AROUND!! :dizzy:yeses:

EEEEKS !!!!

I have some battery problem with my 1.5yo-no-more-warranty Acer laptop too. The battery icon prompted me to change cos it claimed to be faulty. The 1st round of troubleshooting from their website worked. But it only lasted me one month.

Then two weeks ago, that error msg came back again. And I had been using the same troubleshooting method but still no work. I'm gonna let it rest before I do troubleshooting again. If still no work, I'm gonna let it be. As long I can still use, I ain't gonna bring it in for check-up. Cos the entrance fee already sets me back by SGD150 = USD 225. Plus not sure how long it'll take to get a diagnosis and all.
 
Oh man Li Li thank goodness you got it to work again!! My heart was in my mouth!
