Which explains why I've been limping around like a little ancient old lady in pain & who forgot her walker in the car. It hurts to sit down. It hurts to stand up. It hurts to walk!

So after a month of this I finally called my doctor who told me to get my butt to Urgent Care. So I did, this morning. And the doctor there ordered an x-ray. And he found three evenly spaced little bone spurs on the femur part of the joint. :hissy

So, I will be trying to get some layouts done but the dosage of ibuprofen I was prescribed apparently can cause dizziness and drowsiness (I think that's what was happening a bit with two Advils in the morning and evening that I was self-prescribing).

I don't think there's anything you can do, except hope that the main bone reabsorbs them. There are surgeries to remove bad spurs, but those are complicated by the intricacies of the joint. At least the heavy duty ibuprofen seems to be working. Now I need to strengthen up the muscles and stretch the joint out. The doc recommended I not rest constantly-that moving it around was the best thing for it.
 
Oh, ouch. I hope it corrects itself. The human body can be amazing like that. Glad the medicine is helping a bit. Sounds like not a lot of fun.
