KIM! WOOT! Mom to a real live adult, LOL. I'm so glad I'm so much younger than you, LOL (actually I did the math and I am older, but I like to pretend, hehe)
 
My son is 18 now...also can't believe it!
But no...not we are older now, only our children...:giggle:giggle
 
Congrats to both, for his 21 and you for surviving... just kiddin'

My son turned 21 this past summer. I can't say that he hasn't done the drinking thing. I had the "talk" with him that being 21 did not mean he was mature enough to drink, just legally old enough. Being mature enough is knowing when to stop drinking. It has taken a few nasty hang overs and me being ruthless enough to get him out of bed at the crack of dawn and make him work when he has had them to get him to realize that going out and having fun with his friends and does not equate to getting drunk. He is doing much better with it now. :)
 
wow, indeed! i hope he has a wonderful birthday! of course remembering back to what 21 year old boys were like when i was that age... makes me extremely nervous about milestones like these ♥ lol.
 
I totally know how you feel Kim. I felt this way last year when my youngest turned 21. All my boys were adults now...such a strange feeling. My oldest will be 30 this year and I have to say, that is making me feel old! LOL Having a grandbaby this year makes it official...I WILL be old!

I bet your younger boys LOVE when he comes home! I have young nieces and nephews, and they just adore my big boys!
