I can't believe I did it!

I just bought these:

They look like regular ole sunglasses, right? Well... these cost $315 and I can't believe I bought them! Ok... now onto WHY I bought them. I had $320 left in my flex account from last year and I can't think of anything that I needed so I could spend that money and not lose it. So, I had a brilliant idea to call my eye Dr. to see if fancy sunglasses would count as a FSA elligible item. They said not really, but that if they code them as "frames" on the receipt, then I could do that. So I went to their office and found these babies. I almost choked when she told me how much they were. I mean really, who buys these for real?

So, basically they were free to me, but now I'm terrified I'm going to lose them!
 
How cool! At leat you'll be verrry stylish! I'd feel the same way too. I would loose them! lol! Good luck keeping tabs on those!
 
Super cute! I assume if you are good with your regular glasses then you should be good with keeping track of them! OH wait...do you wear glasses?! Maybe you wear contacts now that I think of it! Well way cute, and you can't let that money go to waste - so way to go!
 
Oh... those are awesome!!! I used to do the same thing when I had leftovers on my flex spending account LOL, tho, I never had that much left :)
 
Ohhh those are great! I have to admit...I would sit on them, break off the earpiece or lose them in 3 days flat. I am the worst. LOL

they are super styling!! Love them. Keep them safe. I would wear them on my head and then smash them into the car door as I climbed in. That is what I do so much. UG! LOL! I love a good pair of sunglasses!
 
Oh, fun! We always spent leftover flex on OTC meds and such, but it was never that much to spend. I haven't had "real" sunglasses since I gave up on contacts 13 years ago, and even then I abused the ones I had so terribly that I could never have had expensive ones. Hope you enjoy your "free" shades!

Those are awesome Karen. I have 2 pairs and they last forever...if you scratch a lens they will send you replacements right away. They are well worth the money, imo. Sunglasses and a nice purse are pretty much the only nice things I have :giggle. Enjoy them!
 
Ooooh they look awesome. And you can't beat free! I would stock up on cases. Keep a case in your purse, and an extra one in your car!
 
Those are way cool. I think if you're worried about losing them you should pop a pair of those super-stylish pink neoprene cords on them (you know, the ones that wrap around the back of your head?). Yeah, that would make them look way better. ;)

Or better yet, you could just come over to my house and "lose" them here.
