I just realized I made the jump from big egg to tadppole:wooot

Also exciting... I'm typing this from my new iPad!

And funny...My 5 yo is sitting next to me and he just said, " mom, how come you always go to that dot com?" (meaning the lilypad) and I said " I like this site because it's for scrapbooking. It's called the lilypad."
"oh. So maybe you have a lilypad instead of an iPad!"

LOL how cute is that!

Congrats on the title change!

btw...I thought this post was going to be about how you just learned to swim. I didn't learn as a child and now I'm too scared to even try to learn, even though everyone I know says I should.

Sarah, that's funny because I really can't swim! Just like you I never had the opportunity as a child and I'm so scared in the water. I tell myself one of these days I'll have to hire a private teacher and just get over my fear...

WTG Lynnette - and too funny about your son's words of wisdom!

I'm not a comfortable swimmer - never really was, even after 3 years of lessons. Of course, these days there are years and years of lessons - my boys are both better swimmers than I am. Even at 6 and 9 years of age.

DH grew up near the ocean and can swim (though he says he's not a strong swimmer)...DD however is in the same boat as me and has never really been in the water much. She's 11 and I'm thinking we really should set up some private swim lessons (so they can deal with her freak outs easier) so she can learn. I always hated being invited to pool parties and not being able to swim..I really don't want the same for her, plus it's just a good skill to know.

Ha ha... I totally thought you'd taken swimming lessons too! :)

WTG big tadpole! Congrats on the fun new "Lilypad" toy too. :giggle

congrats!! i am a far cry from there... somebody let me outta this egg!
it's the little things that make us smile isn't it?
