I thought I would show you my hybrid set up for my project life. This is what helps keep me caught up and on track. I bought a little divider box at the dollar store. I think it cost me $4. I mainly use the MPM subscription so when each new month comes out I download my kit and add-ons that I want to work with and then I take 1 day to get all the journal cards, vellum cards, transparency cards, and elements that I like printed and cut out. I use my silhouette for most of the element and word art pieces and I just cut my journal cards with my paper trimmer.

I then use my divider box to organize all my stuff so that when I am working on my pockets I can have all my stuff right there at my fingertips. I love the dividers because I can see what all I have and I am not digging for things. I do usually have a few pieces and cards left over after the month but I just kinda rotate them out when the new MPM kit debuts. Really has made my project stay together and easier for me to handle. I do use a few embellishments here and there that I have bought at the craft store but I have really tried to keep my supplies limited. It helps keep my space uncluttered and my project flow better.

I will usually try to work on a few pockets every couple days.

I know there are probably much better and cooler set ups than mine but thought I would share and hopefully it can help someone.

One other thing I did was cut up one of my pocket pages and I use those to organize small word art and embellishment pieces. Again, this helps me to see what all I have to work with so I am not digging through stuff or missing something.

oh ow that looks awesome!! it is that i dont have a sillouette, otherwise it would be fun to try,
i'm a drama with cutting small thing with sciccors lol.

Amanda, this is awesome! That bin is so pretty and I love how you organize everything to make it easy to see what you have. Thanks so much for sharing this.

Looks great, I love how all the MPM stuff looks in these pictures. Pretty!

What a fabulous peek into your process! I love that cool box too! I love how you manage to keep it simple. That was something i always struggled with when I was paper scrapping. It was WAY too much about collecting stuff and then it took too long to find what i wanted! I love the the MPM has everything you need and it all coordinates!

Do you print everything out at home? If so, do you have any tips? I've never been very satisfied with scrapbooking elements that I have printed on my own :( I really like the idea of the memory pocket subscription!!!

Yes, I print everything myself. I have a Canon MG6620 printer that I love. It really does a great job. I have found that printing my elements out on photo paper or premium presentation paper gives me a much better print than cardstock. I still mix regular scrapping supplies with my printables because I like a little dimension in my pages. I also adjust my printer settings to print at high quality.

This is awesome, Amanda! I love the simple, easy, non-wasteful approach.. I imagine your stuff gets used much more efficiently this way.. :)
