Do you love mixed media but afraid to mix it the hybrid world?

I encourage you to step outside your comfort zone. Mixed Media is equally as fun in the hybrid realm. Go ahead and pull out the gesso, gel Mediums, stamps, inks, etc. not only is it a fun mess the end result can be quite amazing and unique.

here’s a mixed media tag that I created using the Hear My Voice 14- Aspiring.
while I used some elements for my dimensional elements, my background was created with a process of layering many of the mixed media elements a layer at a time.

My gallery post has a little more info in my process used.

That is beautiful, Esther! I LOVE using some of my old (and new) paper scrapbooking supplies to play with digital designs. Sometimes you just want more hands-on crafting. I added a bunch of inking and some acrylic paint to this art journal page I made recently. And more practically, I love inking the edges of my embellishments to cover up those white cut edges.

These are both absolutely stunning and i love the idea of inking the edges to hide any white fussy cutting edges - so smart! These are gorgeous!

This is my favorite way to do hybrid! LOVE your projects girls! :D

This gorgeous. I like to ink my edges as well. I have acrylics but I seem to always come back to my inks and water colors. Or create water color effect with my inks. LOL.
