So, I dropped my favorite eye shadow in the toilet this morning.:thumbsdowns But hey, at least the weekend's coming!

I woke up to let's call it dog intestinal issues... but at least my son is finally home from his summer job!
 
I am hoping to finish basement cleanup today. We had 74 mm (2.9 in) of rain fall in a couple hours on Monday and I decided yesterday it was time to purge the storage closet in the basement, glad I did as I found water and some wet boxes. Waiting for them to come look at it as it looks like it came through the foundation :(

Picking up my new glasses today as well....sunglasses too :)


Then back to basement.......
 
waiting on the info to start a graphic design project ... really, really wanted to get it done today bf the weekend.... client said they'd have it to me last night, but still nothing in my inbox. i hate having unfinished work sitting there over the weekend, waiting for me on monday AM. fingers crossed it comes in soon.
 
I'm waiting on the plumber. Our master bath shower has been leaking for sometime but now it's leaking INTO THE DINING ROOM BELOW. The ceiling it pretty messed up and I can only imagine what the floor joists must look like inside? I imagine he's going to have to tear the shower out to fix it, so we will need a new shower. Just spent all my pennies buying the kids a car so I don't know how we're paying for that. Hope the contractor takes credit cards. :/
 
Quiet morning here. The weather finally cooled off and I think the whole wkend is going to be a bit cooler...yay! Tonight we're going to continue our "True Blood" marathon. We're in season 6 now.
 
Nice right now! This is the last work day before the kiddos all return to school on Monday from summer break.
 
Cleaning out my craft room, yay! Just bought some Aug BYOC goodies from some of my favorite designers. Pretty happy day so far. :)
 
Chilling in bed with my ipad right now. Lol. I desperately needed a quiet Friday night and I'm having one. Happy sigh.
 
went to saturday soccer at 8.30 this morning, and have dropped and broke a magnifying hand mirror in the bathroom (y'now those ones so u can see when doing make-up)- yeah, it hasn't been a great day yet.... and i've got 7yrs bad luck to look fwd too

SO apparently my plumber is smarter than me. He put the hole in the wall behind the shower. Not the shower itself. So I don't need a new shower, just a drywall repair. LOL duh.
 
I have to say I am so tired, I am supposed to be doing stuff, but I am just tired. LOL!!! I guess rowing 8,000 meters will do that to you.
