I figured with one more quarter left in the year, it was a good time to check in and see how we're doing? Are you all thinking about next year yet? If so, do you plan on keeping things the same or are you planning on making some changes? Do you have any other projects going on?

I can't believe I am managing to keep this going!! I am looking forward to next year and want to make some changes but not sure what yet. I want to change the date card either size or placement and perhaps adding a calendar each month. not sure. How about you?

I've done January (where is that rolling on the floor laughing smiley?). I'm a pathetic PL'er... In fact, I think I'm gonna do February TONIGHT! How about them apples :).

Oh, and I'm doing this next year, but gonna get myself together 1st.

I considered doing paper next year but I think I am able to stay caught up because I'm digital. I am still thinking about going with square corners next year instead of rounded... I know, it's crazy. :pound Other than that, proably not changing much other than my weekly card. Going to go with a card that has the dates on it rather than just the number of the week.

YES!!! I LOVE having cards with the dates of the week on them... makes it soooo much easier to figure out what week we're on, vs. asking everyone what week is it... I'm glad I wrote the week numbers along with the dates in my planner so that I didn't have to ask now that I'm a few weeks behind...

I've finally gotten caught back up after being a month behind. I started this year out doing paper, but switched in July to digital. I've wavered on going back to paper, but I'm pretty sure I'll stick to digital... it's easier when it comes right down to it. :)

I only did up to week 20. I plan to get back onto it.... fingers crossed

Yeah you know how far behind I am Heather :) Mostly i want to keep mine the same. I really like how it is. I do hope to stay a little more caught up than I did this year. Everybody cross fingers for me that no major events in my life happen in 2014!!!!

I'm working on the 3rd week of July. I've never been this far behind before and I am really sad about it. I have two scrap weekends coming up with my girlfriends. One of them is a Fri-Sun retreat so I am hoping to go hammer down. I really, really need to be current by the time December rolls around.

:doh and :faint and :wine. You really had to ask that question, didn't you? I've only gotten up to week 37 in 2012, and have to get back to doing that after having been thrown off my pace. Not to mention 2013. Yeah. More :wine please.

This is my first year I've been doing PL and I've made FREQUENT changes all year- starting with the fact that I had a DAILY diary until June (no idea how I've done this, it was so much work I thought I'd go crazy). Now I'm doing weekly layouts and it works much, much better. But I changed the templates I use more than once, and recently made another change to Valorie Wibbens' stitched pocket pages... i will see how that works out. I hope that next year, I will have found a method that works long-term, and can create a more consistent album- but, at least this year is properly documented, that's a start ;)...

I didn't start PL till April because that is when I got my iPhone. I tried it a couple of years ago with just a regular camera (and printed) and couldn't keep up with it. Now I do digital and with my iPhone typically am fine.

I did great all summer and stayed current, but then we went on vacation in late August and I've only done 1 spread from our vacation week and haven't done any PL since then. =( I keep hoping to tackle them soon. I should just start now and kind of work backwards to meet in the middle.

Some weeks I get a little bogged down feeling like I have to stay current, but then when i look in my folder in Bridge where they are all saved and I see them all lined up it makes me so happy. :)

That's how I got caught up Molly... I started with the most recent week and worked backwards. :)

I don't even know how far behind I am, 6 or 7 weeks, probably. In my defense, though, I share a computer now and don't have as much time to work on PL. Joel's going out of town next week, so I'd like to think I'll play catch up, but I'm not so good at catching up. Next year we'll be in theStates and I'm planning to go simple and just use the pl cards. We'll see if I can be happy with that.

I'm currently caught up after being behind since late summer. It feels good! I have the hard copy of the first half of the year already printed (and as a bonus, Shutterfly accidentally sent me two copies). I'm really loving PL and absolutely love going through my finished book. I'm already thinking about next year because I'm trying to figure out how to make it feel like I'm taking a break without getting behind. Does that make sense? I need a new plan so it doesn't feel like a never ending project... something to make taking on my 2014 book feel like a new adventure. I'm definitely looking to change up my title card... it tends to be what gives me the most trouble each week anymore. I think I would rather do it as a 3x4 card so it doesn't take up so much real estate. I'm also toying with using different templates. This year I used the same exact template all year to be consistent (and it really helped me plan my weeks in the beginning). Not sure if I'll just pick a new template to use every week next year or free myself up to use any template from a set for variety.

I have the last few weeks 3/4ths finished: missing one photo or one 3x4 card, etc. No biggie. I will (hopefully!) get them all finished this weekend so I can be caught up again. Getting a new camera this week (not having had one since April) has been a great re-motivator. Since I don't plan on doing PL in December (just my Countdown to Christmas album which actually starts Thanksgiving weekend), I only have a few weeks to go before I have my whole year complete. Woot!

I would still love to have a hybrid/paper PL album, but I neither have the at-home equipment to print nor the willpower to constantly print things out to keep up, so I will still be digital next year. I have really enjoyed the one-page weekly PL page I have been doing this year, but a couple of huge things will be happening next year in late spring or early summer, so I might switch to a two-page spread and resign myself to not as much as 'regular' scrapping. We'll see.
