I forget who was asking about this, and can't find the original thread... but this Lifehacker article explains how to customize any folder icon in Windows.

If you just want to have your folder show the digital kit's preview, just change the preview's file name to folder.jpg and that will work. The Lifehacker article is for changing it to any icon of your choice.
