how do you show link to the products you used in a layout

i cant figure out how i have a link for the products i have used in a layout. i see that lots of people have the name of the product and if you click on it it takes your right to that product in the store but i dont know how to do that when i post a layout..thanks for any help
 
go to the product in the store that you used, copy the Url at the top (http: etc) come back to your post type the name of the product you used, then highlight it then click the globe with the chain link on it (right above this box) and paste the url in there then click ok :)
 
where is the globe? i dont get this instructions? i see the globe here when i do a reply but not when i am posting my layout? can someone show me some screen shots or help me someway
 
In the gallery there isn't a link globe.
It sure would be nice though. LOL!

Just use this formula:

[%URL=link to product here]kit name here[/URL]

Remove the % to make it work. (I just added that so the code is not converted)

This: [%URL=https://the-lilypad.com/store/product.php?productid=8048]typeset alphas by Sahlin Studio[/URL]

Would you use the same formula if you want to link to someone else's layout, for instance, if you are scrap lifting?
 
But if we use the same formula... Will the page image come out instead of just the link?
I was always wondering if there is a way to post our images in the forum for the challenges instead of having to load it up to photo bucket to get a link/code?
