House renovations-still plodding along

Well we're in week 3 of the bathroom/kitchen/electrics renovations and yesterday I sat and had my melt down and cried,I swear if we was paing for this and not the council they would of been sacked by now

The electrics are almost done,the kitchen is in but needs the final adjustments,the flooring down the dishwasher plumbed in,since they have plumbed in my washer it no longer works,so there gonna look at that but I have got the service men coming to look at that too
The bathroom was almost done till the gas man came to change the radiator and decided to rip out a panel and left it open for 2 days which there was an open drop that gabbi could of fell down and now there is more work in the bathroom to be done than when they started
They have left some sticky like paper on stairs so the work men don't mark the carpet but instead gabbi slipped on it and fell from top of stairs to the bottom and all I could do was stand there and watch as I was a step behind her so couldnt stop her,thankfully it just shook her up and every other room now needs decorating from where they have done the electrics so needless to say I've had enough and want it finished

Oh my word Karen! I am so sorry to read this. I can SO imagine you had enough of it! I really hope it will all be over soon and worth it in the end.

Oh boy! I hope the work is done soon. We had our bathroom redone about 3 years ago and went a week without a bath\shower in the house and had to go get clean at my mom and dad's house. It was a pain but the end result was worth it.

Awww, I'm so sorry it isn't going as smoothly as it should be. And so glad to hear Gabbi wasn't hurt! I hope it's finished up soon and you all can get back to living with everything in it's proper place xo

i decided to go out this afternoon to a ball park to get away from it all and left them to it,i came home to the plumbing done in kitchen bathroom all boarded up like it should of been originally bath panel on and first coat of paint in there so a load came together while i was away and the time away did me and gabbi good,
