What is it about your 'state, province' that you love and are grateful you can call it home?

For me, I would have to say the gorgeous Rocky Mountains here in Alberta and all the beautiful country that surrounds it.
 
Indiana is not really where I want to live the rest of my life, but there are things I'm grateful for: being a day's drive (or less) from more than half the country, stereotypical Midwestern family values, and having all four seasons. :)
 
I'm in Western Australia and love many things about it. One would be the weather (except when it's far too hot like today) and the quiet, laid back attitude here.
 
I love seeing the mountains when I look out of the window. Love to drive there with the boys in summer (I dont like to go there in winter, because I hate winter LOL). We also have a lake near us. So it´s great to live here (well for me LOL)
 
Berlin is my hometown, I grew up here and my family lives here... so that`s why I call it home :D Everyone that I LOVE just live here <3
 
I don't love anything about the climate in Ohio, but I do love my town for it's neighbors and it's small town feel, so I'm likely staying forever.
 
UGH.....I am a Texas girl too and well, there isn't much I like about it. Lived here all of my life and want to get away but I would say my fave thing is that I get to wear flip flops nearly 365 days a year. LOL
 
Although I complain about the winters of Minnesota... I do living here.

I love the four seasons (fall especially)
And I LOVE be near water... LOVE being at the lake!

I've lived in Washington all my life. We moved from the west side (gray, rainy, wet) to the east side (warm, dry, sunny) a little over 3 years ago and it was the best move we ever made. It's a little slower over here, less traffic, more laid back, and gorgeous in the summer time. Love it!
 
I've lived in Oklahoma almost five years and my boys definitely call it home. While there are definitely things I don't love, I think that Oklahoma's sky at dusk and sunset is absolutely stunning!
