Holiday plans?

I'm so excited to be going up to our trailer for 10 days (leaving on Friday). It's so peaceful and relaxing. I'm bringing my point and shoot camera and will have my phone (with camera) to take some candid shots throughout the week. Leaving the big camera at home. Looking forward to relaxing, tv watching, reading, scrapping on laptop, staying up late and sleeping in, going to the lake, hiking with Taz, relaxing on the deck with a beer.....heavenly week IMO. And...the great thing is that I get to do it again at the end of next month for a couple of weeks.

What about you? Any holiday plans?

No big plans for us. We are going to be taking a few days next month to go and visit my grandparents and my husband's grandmother one state over. But apart from that, we are just trucking through the last days of summer!

Perhaps one day when both kids are out of college, I'll consider spending money on trips. Right now... not so much.

we are doing vacation-lite this year ... will try to get down to parents in NJ a few more times this summer (they are 30 mins from the beach) and then Cape Cod at the end of Aug.

I wish!! I have months of work to go before my much longed for beach holiday arrives .... sign! I am NOT jealous ... ok maybe a tiny bit!
