Yes, I'm doing it. I'm going there. But I'm so curious!! What kinds of things have you been daydreaming about for holiday gifts? For yourself. Are you dreaming of crafty somethings? Home-y things? Book-y things? Share your wishes here! With photos and links if you've got them! :beat

If I had a wealthier husband (lol) I'd be asking for a new camera.

But, alas.

I have a lot of stuff on my wishlist but number one would be a new computer....so hard to share with DH. Will probably be after the new year before we can even consider it though.

I've been daydreaming about that for ages. I've discovered that if I don't tell people what I'd like, I end up with bath salts and lotions that I usually am allergic to anyway.

I got a new DSLR in May so I'd like a "go to" lens and a IS zoom lens up to 300-400 but under 6 inches long so I can take it to the local football games.
I have a few of the sims 3 games on my wish list because I collect them and haven't been able to buy the past 3 or 4.
I want some DVD's... I like those big Harry Potter collection ones and I still need both #7 movies, but I also want some old sitcoms on DVD that I love like Everybody Loves Raymond and King of Queens, maybe Water for Elephants too.
I've been spreading the word that I want ANYTHING for the house but particular sheets and towels and anything else that decorates or organizes the house.
Lastly (well mostly last except for the maid service I never seem to get), I want to get some "scrap coupons" for some of the stuff I want... one of the classes that is out there or a few of them that I can't afford to get on my own. I know I won't get that but maybe I can splurge for myself.

We'll be giving gifts but I have no clue what because money is tighter than ever. I am considering ideas for handmade stuff (but good handmade, not like something simple or basic like a mug I painted).

Of course the biggest item for my wish list really is just a happy, healthy family and to spend time together (without arguing, lol)

I HAD an ipad on mine but my awesome hubby bought it for me already for my birthday, for Christmas we both decided to not give each other a gift but get a new car at the beginning of January instead we are getting this...
Mazda3

or if we can afford it this
Honda Ridgeline

when our old car broke (mazda 626) my mil offered us her car to use, let's just say she isn't a good driver and the car has more dings on it then not LOL!

Micheline,
I'm with you... I want a car... My heart is set on a 'stang or Jeep Cherokee or Liberty. Black or Red only please. :)

We'll be getting black too :) Love the simple look of black kwim?
Me too... but my husband prefers white, which is okay too. I like red b/c it's "hog color"... I'm from Arkansas... but also because it's hot like me... *wink bwwhaaahaaa haaa... I had a funny, I'm a nut kind of moment there.

LMAO @ Hog Color! I like the look of white but I don't like how quickly it looks dirty kwim?

I have my dream car already.....a 2009 Pontiac G6 Convertible so I'm okay with that.

Seriously though, my wish list is that we have enough money to get all the grandkids something and our kids. I really can't think of one thing that I want or wish for except time. I know, that's impossible too. Of course, I don't mind GCs from The Buckle, Bath & Body Works, or even Wal-Mart!

Ooh yes!

I'm a give-a-list-or-end-up-with-blechy-perfume kind of girl too. I'm still in the process of the daydreaming. So far if I want to go BIG dreams, I'd love an iPad or a new lens. But those are pipe dreams this year.

So I like too this calendar: http://www.paper-source.com/cgi-bin...Source-Wall-Art-Calendar/3205.001/436902.html

And I like the Little Mandy at Vera.

There's a couple etsy things I've been eyeballing (and BTW I so wish there was a GC option for Etsy). We have doors that won't stay open without help so I want to get something like this: elephant doorstop or owl doorstop. And because I'm totally cheesy and I love little nativity sets I have this wee little one favorited. lol.

Still brainstorming. :)

Did I really forget cs5?! Yes on my list for sure. Where is that darn head smack smiley when u need him.

Ohhhh!!! I forgot to mention a Silhouette!! Ohhhh how I want one. :beat

I really don't want much for Christmas - but you asked about daydreaming, right?, and I have plenty of things to share in that department! :giggle

I'd love a full frame camera. *sigh* It's the main thing I'm dreaming of but it's at least a few years down the road. :)

For crafty things, since I'm getting myself the Project Life goodies already I don't have any serious need, but I would love some mists. I don't have any but I think they are so cool.

Then I don't know if it's a good idea, but I'd love to get a treadmill and get serious about using it. I've never had one before though so I'm not sure if I should keep bugging DH about it or not..

The one thing I am likely getting for Christmas is RadLab for photo editing, I've used the trial and I fell in love with it, so I'm waiting to see if they have a Black Friday discount.

I am a huge fan of Anthropologie and I likely will get a few items there when my mom comes to visit in a couple of weeks - it'll be my Christmas gift from her. I seriously can spend hours in those stores. :beat I am usually pretty good at just looking at stuff and not buying it, but I went crazy last week in Washington DC and bought these and these. I've set my eye on this and this too... pricey, but adorable! These were so pretty too, but I managed to resist the impulse to buy them... for now!

That's all I can think of for now. :whistle

I'd love a new laptop. Mine died two years ago, and sharing with DH is the pits. A new 'purse' camera would be great, too. Those are both out of the budget, though.

Besides electronics and other big ticket items, I'm really more of an 'experience' gift kind of person. I'd love a family pass to one of the museums in town... theater tix... a GC to the salon to get my hair did... Groupon GC... things like that. I'm really hoping that DH will make enough in OT this Christmas so that we can put some away for a family vaca next summer. We've never taken the kids on a real family vaca before, and I really want to.
