I have been hanging around here for a while and started jumping in on some posts, but I haven't really introduced myself so I thought I should probably do that. The Pad is absolutely my favorite scrapping store hands down and I would like to stick around and hang with you guys. So here goes...

My name is Kelly. I am 36 and have two small kiddos, Tristan (4) and Conner (2). I am a Texas girl through and through but I went and fell in love with a handsome German Air Force Major and now I live in Germany. I am a total fish out of water here and nobody quite knows what to make of me but I make it work. lol I am an RN but right now I'm staying home with the kiddos and I love that I have that opportunity. My fav things are scrapping, hanging with my boys, evenings on the couch with hubby after the kids have gone to bed, my ipod touch (well, till I get my iPad then that will be my favorite lol), and just basically keeping it simple.

I really look forward to getting to know you all better. Hope you don't mind if I stick around :flirty
 
hi ya dearie!

we "did" 3 years in germany - bitburg. i would die for a true brochen. nothing comes close to it here in the states. and you would be appalled at what it cost for jager snitzel back here. no more going down to the cantina at lunch.

I was born in Ft Worth but before moving to Germany I lived 22 years in El Paso. So I guess you could say I am from there. I noticed you live in Houston. All of my family with the exception of one brother lives there.

To funny, my boyfriend grew up in El Paso. Happy to have another Texan on our pad! Enjoy yourself, and don't go to broke to fast. (It's easy to!)

Heather, which University do you go to, UofH or Rice? DH is a graduate student at UofH.
