Hi girls,

I thought it would be nice to introduce myself here, since I am a complete newbie at the Pad! :yesss
Allthough I recognize many of you of course. :flirty
My name is Sarah, my nickname PLM (which is the abbreviation of my blog Precious life and memories). I started out with digiscrapping in december 2011, but you could say I started earlier when I made the birth card for my eldest son. i simply didn't know that what I was doing had a name!

Since then I had the chance to be taken in some designer ct's, where I learned alot and got to meet great people. As you know, the digiscrap world is soooo big and I moved along with what I discovered.
Started of to scrap for my family memories, it has become a real addiction - like many of you, no? :giggle
I just discovered Lilypad through the ct-call and saw what great designers and scrappers there are here. Fell immediately in love with the style and it feels like coming home: it's a mix of storytelling and scrapping. Just what I have been searching for! :heartslub

Well, I guess you could see, it felt like home right away! :fairydance

Otherwise: I'm a midthirties (what, allready????) mom of 2 adorable boys and married to a fantastic hubby! I work at the local police and am at home 1 day a week. In the evening, I am sitting with my laptop and scrapping and sufring. I have one other new passion: I have taken a photography course last year and I'm still learning and discovering alot. And doubting to take the second year or not (it takes some investing, lol!)

Oh, my mind is a bit quirky sometimes, but that's fun isn't it???

Well, hope to meet/see you everyone!

Hugs,
Sarah

Sarah! A huge welcome to you. This is my home away from home...my family gives me a bad time as I have a rubber froggy that sits on my computer desk, and her name is Polly! lol love the line, I made a card and" simply didn't know that what I was doing had a name!"
Enjoy, and I am off to your gallery, to see you fill it up with memories and joy!

Welcome, Sarah! I love that you described TLP as a mix of storytelling and scrapping--I love that it gives me a creative outlet to tell my family's story!

Waw, girls, you are so heartwarming to welcome me! Thank you all so much, I feel allready part of your "family", thanks!!!!

Welcome, Sarah!! I love that you keyed right into the heart of TLP...storytelling and scrapping...with great support and inspiration from friends.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you better and seeing your work in the gallery. I hope you'll play along with the July challenges too.

Welcome home, Sarah! We are a bit quirky too, so you will fit right in.

Welcome to the Pad, Sarah -- we're so glad you found us and want to call this place home. (And we are also quirky, just like Dalis said!)
