I don't know if you remember this thread, but my bathroom remodel went pretty much on schedule, but little did I know that the other scheduled work was going to start when that finished. It's been a long road and quite a process, but it seems I finally have my house (still a couple of items need to be revisited.) There is still some cleaning that needs to be done, but I can live in my house and I'm done shuffling stuff from room to room. Looking forward to getting fully unpacked and everything clean. If you ever have tile removed, it is the biggest mess-maker ever! But I do love my new vinyl plank flooring.

I'm not even sure what pictures I've captured along the way, exciting to have done, but frustrating during the process. But now that I can have easier access to my computer maybe I can get some pictures sorted.

So glad you are getting settled now and that you can enjoy your remodel :)

Enjoy your newly remodelled rooms! It will be neat to see before and after (and during) photos of the process! Something to scrap!

Welcome back! I'm sure you're enjoying your newly remodeled home. We have vinyl plank flooring in our bathrooms and love it!

So good to see you and I'm sure you are excited to be at the end of a long road!!

Good to see you again, Lisa. Enjoy the remodel. Glad you have returned to us at The Pad! :)

I do hope you make some before and after layouts so we can see the changes! In the future, we need to do some remodeling of the basement. Ack. I do not look forward to that chaos.

Chaos is a good word. I’m still trying to figure out where I stashed things to get them out of the way. Good luck with your remodel.

Glad the chaos is almost over and life can get back to normal. Bet the house looks wonderful now with the remodel! It's be fun to see the before and after pics if you scrap some pages about it.

Oh my! yes!! We had a tiny bit of tile removed to fix a bathroom leak. Like less than 1 foot square. And yet - the bathroom was covered in dust and dirt. The whole thing! I can't imagine the mess from a whole floor!

What color vinyl plank flooring? Will you share a pic? I'd love to see it!

We just did vinyl plank flooring at my parents house in October and it was a long drawn out process... lots of waiting for our turn and then moving all the things from room to room while the guys worked. It's such a pain, but totally worth it AFTER it's over. :giggle I'm so glad your projects are done and you can finally get settled. That's going to feel so awesome!

How fun! I hope you feel all settled soon so that you can enjoy the results! :-)

We are having some exterior repair work done in the next few weeks, and then next on the list is remodeling the master bath, then maybe having our absolutely horrible yard regraded and re-sodded, and then after that replacing the 27-year-old original carpet throughout most of the house. We did vinyl plank in one room about a year and a half ago. We chose a really, really dark brown. It contrasts beautifully with the white trim and our builder beige walls. I love it, but I'm a little scared to do the rest since it would be such a dramatic change! Not to mention the fact that we have so much stuff crammed into this house that I can't imagine the logistics of just making room for them to work. Thankfully, it's probably a year or so before we have to figure it out. :)

I would love to see your before and after photos! I love home renovations, even though I'm NOT the person to live in it all while it's torn up. I get sooooo grumpy. LOL
