Hey crystal

*sigh* She's doing pretty good. lol! She eats like everything though and it's getting frustrating LOL! Laura, how do I stop that?! I can't get the gentle leader on my own so tomorrow Garret is going to be home and we are going to keep it on her all day. I have read all the info on it and gonna watch the DVD that it came with tonight but I think it's just what she needs!! Stella is the most smitten with her so far. I guess it's cause she's too little to be too afraid or something. LOL!

She looooves having the fence and sometimes I have to force her back inside. She is really a sweet dog..we just need to keep her from eating everything in sight and going through the trash. LOL!

a little story..lol

I was sitting on the couch the other day and Shila and Stella were in the kitchen together and out of nowhere stella starts screaming hysterically! Like wailing. I thought she had to be sooo hurt or something. So, I drug Shila outside and grabbed stella and she just screamed and screamed! I was sooo scared!! I started inspecting her all over and couldn't find anything. After like 5 minutes I got her to calm down enough to tell me what it was that was wrong! She just sniffled and finally said "Shila licked my nose!" and started wailing again!:giggle I seriously died laughing. The poor girl was not happy, but seriously it was just sooo funny! LOL!

that's super funny!!! i might cry too... i am NOT a fan of dog slobber. reason #1 we don't have a dog!

glad she's settling in... hope the leader helps!

lol...that was cute...but funny!
I think I would scream to if I got licked by a dog slobber..lol

I probably would have started crying and then peed my pants. But then again, I'm terrified of dogs. LOL :giggle

Wow she is so pretty Crystal! And so big. What a sweet photo! How cute about Stella getting licked in the nose. I'm sure she'll get used to it.

Crystal, that's hilarious about Stella and the nose. So cute.

The junk yard dog routine...not so much. So, in addition to that "leave it" video I sent you, did you get the Monk of New Skete book? They have a whole section in there about tethering your dog to you for a while to eliminate this kind of behavior. Aside from the obvious puppy proofing, young dogs can be alot like 2 year old kids...distract from the naughty behavior and redirect!

BTW, I have to say, she really is a BEAUTIFUL dog!
