A friend / co-worker of mine is really going through another rough patch - and I know she'd appreciate any and all prayers from those that care to do so.
A little over a year ago, her teenage son passed away (Lori found him in his bed - he fell asleep and just never woke up - they could not find the cause!)
A few months ago Lori's daughter had a baby and there were tons of complications with her daughter's health - several surgeries were required (she had a C-section) and a few weeks after the surgergy her older baby took a fall from a car seat that was on top of a picnic table onto the concrete at the park. (Thankfully, she was not injured severely - other kids had unbuckled her without her mom knowing...but because there was a head injury, they had to deal with the DCSF until everything was confirmed to be okay - which it is)
Yesterday, Lori's 29 year old nephew had surgery (he'd been having headaches) and was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of the brain. His prognosis is grim.
She is at work today, but is a mess ... It's so hard when you don't have the right words to say. She's certainly been getting a lot of hugs ... and I know our prayers are heard ...
Thank you in advance for taking time to read this and/or pray!!!
