which woukld be YOUR cake?

we were talking about Roasting veggies and then I HAD to get of here , went and we cook some roast veggies with salmon....and sat to watch some TV.... I reckon you know this guy? Cake Boss?
Sarita is a huge fan, now he has a program in Brazil too, and last night he made some awesome cakes , one of which was for a farm, it was like a pumpkin patch...only a cake!!!!!!
then he made a gigantic PIANO!!!! for the University of Shenandoah in Virginia... and the piano arrived well!!!!
so, what would YOUR cake be?
if you had no money objections, you could have any size, small, little, anything at ALL, what would you ask Buddy to make you?

I saw him once make a cake that was a life size Frank Sinatra...amazing...and Sarita said she would ask for a human size Oscar...like not a live size as the actual statue is not that big...she wants is an Oscar as big as she is :giggle
I think mine should be a sports car, a J or an Aston Martin, Bentley (well not necesarily sports car really, Love the bmw of the 70s I think it was 330, and the mercedes pagoda) thing is, I would be doubting if I want to eat it LOL

I love getting to know you through the travel in time, so, show me a bit more of you and tell us what your cake should be... :heartlub
 
You want me to figure out my dream cake? I can't even figure out my birthday cake this year! Partly cuz I need to stop eating cake haha. Oh this would be fun. Almost sounds like an All About Me prompt.
 
My cake would be a big stack of books. :) Or it would be me, taking a nap with a table next to me full of books, a glass of wine, and a good chocolate bar! :giggle

LoL that was more or less the idea....
but does not necessarily mean that... like if I was to do the escence of about me would have to go like Sara, but either me on stage on a huge microphone stand, or a replica of me the day Sarita was born with her looking like a chinese little rat all wrinkley and with her eyes closed LOL
or I could go just for a wonderful, small cake of those that have the melting Belgium chocolate inside.....

LOVE that idea!!!!!! he made today a cake that was for some family winery, and he made the cases of wine, and then wooden boxes with grapes coming ouyt of it...in the middle of the process, he made his wife and the sisters stomp on the grapes to make the wine LOL
 
Well this year that's easy. It would need to be full of butterflies, with some hot pink flowers. But that's not fancy enough, so I'll take a replica of the Mad Hatter's tea party because that's still a favorite.

And off topic, how is Sarita doing?
 
Hmm .. probably it should be an edible iMac LOL. Or a bubble bath with bubbles made out of spun sugar!
 
One of my coworkers wives bakes cakes. Like crazy cakes. I used to play farmville and she made me a farmville cake. I will have to find a picture. SHe also baked a coworker a true blood cake from the show. I will look for pictures tomorrow. My dream cake would just be a black forest cake. Nothing fancy. I also like a good carrot cake, which was what my farmville cake was.
 
Hmmm... I think I would just want a big cake with fun decorations! Basically shouting happy, fun, and celebration! Maybe a little summer in there, too!

TBH, his cakes and bakery were better before he became famous and overpriced. :(
 
So I found the farmville cake, the time is my birthdate. She is very creative!

I would have a very elaborate scene. A deer(woman) standing near the Eiffel Tower in a fancy dress, and near her there would be a party table (sort of like an Alice in Wonderland tea party) with a lot of little treats stacked up, a cotton candy stand, a carousel, another small table with an old typewriter, and a throne with a brain sitting on top of a pile of books.

And I can totally picture all of it, imagined through the art styling of Mark Ryden. :)

Now you all know just how weird I am.
 
I did a groom's cake for my friend's hubby when she got married. He was a PhD student, so it was a big stack of math books. She ended up being frustrated because people loved the cake I made more than the wedding cake she paid for. LOL.
 
Mine would be a bunch of geeky scenes combined onto one cake, almost like rooms. There's be some Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Trek, Star Wars, a 42, Firefly, and maybe a couple of others.
And the base that it sits on would look like books.
 
I need to go sleep now but I ll be coming back in a few hours, (7 am and I need to wake Sarita upo to go to the nurse to change dressing!!!!) love you girls...
