Hope you are doing well-
There has been an ongoing problem with the system in the gallery "eating" your credits-
I know it is not all the time, but it is happening more often- so , I thought I share with you what I do to make sure the credits show up-
First of all, it seems that it happens more if your crediting is too long, or you have long journaling- but it can happen also if you, by mistake have typed a symbol that shouldn't be there , or type a smiley that isnt recognized by the system... for example I have the habit of the Facebook heart, a < symbol plus a number 3, which in here makes the post disapear in the gallery.....
So, here is what to do:
upload, put your credits/text in, just before you hit post in the second part, when is about to take your page to the gallery, highlight all your text and copy....post page
Go to see the page- if the credits are in, fine
If not, click EDIT PHOTO on the right hand side , where your avatar & the links for the page are, and when you are shown the box that used to have your text, even if it does show the text...PASTE what you just copied before....it is garanteed (well, it works 99.9% for me!) to show the credits then-
Also: another way of making it less likely that it will eat the credits, is to use the linking editor, the text editor you have when you are posting,m in order to have shorter text....
I took some screen shots of what I do, and will put a post together tomorrow, maybe stick it in my blog if it is too long for here, but in case someone is interested, I ll come post tomorrow or the day after the latest-
