The 1st of March is a special day in Wales (my home from home) - St David's Day. We celebrate with Daffodils and eating Welsh Cakes.

The daffodils in my garden are not in flower yet unfortunately. Do you have any? Are there any in the store?

Here's how to make Welsh Cakes:

YUM! Love Welsh Cakes - they were a big favourite growing up.
It's not daffodil season here but daffodils are definitely the gift that keeps on giving - they come up and flower every year without fail.

I'd never heard of Welsh cakes until now. I enjoyed watching the video about how to make them.

I haven't seen any daffodils but I always love how pretty they are.

I did some family history work for a distant family member from Wales today. :)

My daffodils are starting to pop out. The fake spring has them coming out. Those welsh cakes look awesome! I may have to try making some.

My daffodils have started poking up out of the ground, but need several more weeks before they will bloom. I have tons of them around in the landscaping around my yard. I have a bunch of different varieties and love them all!

I've never hear of Welsh cakes before. Hope you were able to enjoy some!
