Ok...here's some happy stuff!
One of my really good friends who has not been able to conceive for more than 12 years found out she is pregnant after the adoption of her 2 foster children was finalized last week!

Hugh has slept through the night for 3 nights in a row...trust me...good news!

aww thats great news is she still going ahead with the fostering hope this cheers jacque up,i dont think i have anything exciting going on at the moment apart from my lil one leaves infant school this week and is officially a big boy now going into junior school(welll he thinks so)

Congrats on Hugh sleeping through the night for you already. That's amazing! My youngest didn't sleep through the night until he was 3 years old. Seriously!

I wish I had good news! Maybe later today.....if so I will come back to share. We find out today if DH got a HUGE promotion at work. {fingers are crossed}
 
Ok, I don't have any ground breaking good news, but I can share some happy things in my life right now... I live for these tiny little details that just make me happy.

1. We got to visit with the God-parents of both my boys last night and their four kids. They moved to Washington State about 4 years ago so we treasure visits with them. The kids all got to swim, took a boat ride and went tubing. It was such a fun summer night!

2. I went to a used booksale on Saturday with my Mom and bought 3 boxes of books for the kids and myself for $35. They had hard cover books for 25 cents!!! :) The other funny thing was that after pulling all of the books out to show my kids (4 & 6) My oldest got super excited about one that I bought about the Mysteries of Space and Black Holes. Ha ha!

3. I actually felt like scrapbooking this week and have done 3 pages! It's been WEEKS since I've taken the time for that!

4. I get to go camping this weekend with my family and our church group. We are going to an amusement park on Friday all day (complete with water park) and we get to go canoeing as a family for the first time on Saturday. I can't wait!

Awww thats great!! And congrats on your little guy sleeping through! Tyson is 14 months and still usually gets up at least once a night. sigh
 
I have some good news to share!

Lulu is potty trained as of this week yay!

And although my sister is getting a divorce, it's for the best, and she's coming home this weekend for good and I can't wait to spend time with her, so it's mostly good.

Awesome things!! Yay for your friend Rachel! That happened to a friend of mine ....well, it was about 25 years ago. After being married 12 years, they adopted a daughter, and then when another adoption fell through...they found out she was 4 months pregnant. They ended up having 2 boys of their own. I'll NEVER forget the day she showed up on my doorstep with her ultra sound pic. She was literally shaking. I had been telling her that it sounded like she was pregnant, but she was getting angry with me because she didn't think it was very funny. Precious memories!!

Yay for little ones sleeping through the night, for camping trips, for spending time with friends and family, for books, potty training....

I'm happy for work for both my dh and myself. I don't make a lot...but it's still work. It's a bummer my dh has to work up in the middle of nowhere in Alaska, but we do have Skype (when he has service...which was for about 17 minutes this evening!)

I'm also so happy I got to go to the pool with friends this afternoon. It felt so good to just sit in the water and chat! The weather was unbelievably gorgeous...just a perfect day!

Found out that my baby who was breech for forever has FINALLY TURNED!!! YIPPEE. Now that is good news. Did not want a c-section here!!!
 
I've got a bit of good news to throw into the mix...

Although the details aren't all that much to shout about, I am EVER SO THANKFUL to be able to say that we no longer own 2 houses... we are down to ONE house payment my friends!! (insert happy dance here)

Love it!
