Happy Father's Day to all the Pad Dads!
We haven't done much celebrating around here. It's kind of a tough one for me because my dad passed away really close to Father's Day 13 years ago. Hard to believe he's been gone that long. My hubby's dad also passed pretty close to Father's Day.

I've also had a lot going on this weekend...birthday parties and baby showers. We went out for a late dinner and that's about it for us.

Did you do anything special for Father's Day?

I’m sorry both your dads passed close to Father’s Day; that’s so hard.

I’m glad you were able to go out to dinner.

DH prefers no attention so the kids gave him cards this morning, we went to church as a family, then we watched a movie at home. We also spoke to my FIL on the phone & my parents stopped by after eating dinner with my brother.

Sorry about both of your Dads passing too close to Father's Day. :(

My hubby was gone all weekend fishing, but when he got home we took him out to dinner at his favorite local place and the boys actually hung out chatting for a bit after we were done eating which is always fun.

In the morning after church, I made a batch of chocolate chips cookies and took those over to my Dad. They are his favorite and it was a surprise, so that was fun.

We headed down to my parents house, brought lunch and hung out for a bit. Boys got my husband a card and some candy - so they can share probably. lol!

Sorry for those that lost their Dads. Many hugs and may your good memories bring a smile to your face!

We were at a conference in Orlando and had it all planned out to to go to a special restaurant... which didn't open until noon, when we had to checked out by 10. We ended up at a local chain that we don't have in South Florida (yet!) called Sus Hi Eatstation because we usually stop there while we're in Orlando. We also grabbed bubble tea on our way out of town. My son & I got him space-themed cards and I bought him a potion bottle from a vendor at the conference because it was cute.

His real present was a little Bluetooth clicker so he and my son could play Pokemon Go together.
