I usually do something for my co-workers, but I am blanking on an idea this year. In the past, I've done Sharpie mugs, homemade sugar scrub jars, decorated mason jars, handmade ornaments, and soap bottle inserts. If I'm going to do something this year, I have until the 19th to decide and get it done. I also have a couple of little knitting projects going. I made a headband for my granddaughter who will be here any day now, and I need to do a couple more of those.

So who here is doing something handmade, creative, or crafty for Christmas gifts this year?

I'm just starting a new job - so 100% a no for me. I'm pretty sure I 'll need down time to adjust to the change. I'll be lucky to finish wrapping things this year! :giggle At least I got the decorating done early.

I've made bath bombs in the past (not for coworkers but for family). My SIL is allergic to lavender, which is in A LOT of bath products, so I wanted to make something she could use. And she was pregnant at the time, so she needed extra pampering! Maybe those would work for you, Jan? They're easy and can be customized and they're quick to make. Or what about a hot cocoa mix or a microwave-able cake mix? I've seen some of those on Pinterest and I want them for myself. :giggle Or maybe you're happy not home-making anything this year. I'm always amazed at the fun stuff Costco has for gifts. Yesterday I picked up a Godiva box tower for DS's teacher and a cute metal Nutcracker tin filled with truffles for his bus driver. If I get my Silhouette to work, then I'll make their cards (for some reason my computer has startd refusing to recognize that it's plugged in!) This year I'm not doing anything crafty besides my digital card and accompanying link to a private online album. (I'm emailing cards this year, and since I'm not on facebook, I figure an online album filled with maybe 6 layouts to highlight our 2018 would be a good way to show long-distance friends/family our life.) Wow, I'm off topic so I'll stop now. :)

Congrats on the new job!! And I totally understand the adjustment period!

Those are great ideas! With the grandbaby coming any day now, I'm almost afraid to start anything because I know things will get crazy once she decides to make her appearance. So, I'm seriously thinking I may be happier to let it slide this year and find something out and about rather than stressing if I'll get finished or not.

I just do lots of homemade goodies (cookies, cupcakes, fudge)- I deliver to our closest 10 or so neighbors & the kids' school for staff appreciation!

I used to make cookies in a jar for the kid's teachers, and make up a tag/recipe instructions on my scrapping program and tie it around the top. Plus, it's something you can easily get help with from others.
