With Halloween Bash just one day away (eek!), I want to know if you like to scrap Halloween better or if you like to scrap Autumn better.

I also want to know if you celebrate Halloween or not and what Autumn looks like/feels like where you live.

No matter which group you’re in, there will be something for everyone during Halloween Bash so be sure to check it out this weekend!

I don't celebrate it.

Some years autumn is colourful. This year it isn't. The trees that were starting to turn yellow last week dropped all their leaves when they were still mostly green during the high winds. So we currently have a mixture of green trees and bare trees. For me autumn is all about the fruit harvests.

I like to scrap autumn better, because I don't celebrate Halloween.

I LOVE HALLOWEEN... but it isn't the easiest to scrap for me. I prefer to scrap autumn.

Halloween is huge in our neighborhood! Our house is known as the "hot chocolate" house. We have been serving hot chocolate to kids and their parents for the last 8 years... this is on top of treats - usually allergy free: like penny toys, packaged cookies, stickers, pencils and such. Hydroflask stickers have been a HUGE hit with our trick or treaters for the last few years...
I start prepping months in advance! :)

Don't celebrate Halloween. Stopped giving out treats over 30 years ago. Even before that it wasn't really a big thing. Yes, Mom took me trick or treating as a kid but as far as other parties, I may have gone to 1 as an adult in my 20's.

I love scrapping autumn. So much that last year I did an October daily album where I took photos every single day of the foliage during the month. I planned on doing the same this year but with having surgery and being in the hospital for 3 days at the beginning of the month I don't have quite the photos I got last year. I also was not allowed to drive for a week when getting out of the hospital so I had to stick to photos from my neighborhood but thankfully, there are lots of trees... some of them are still green and others are all orange or yellow. Then there are those few that are in between! I am still taking photos and will decide later what I want to do with the days I don't have photos.

Autumn! My kids are grown and gone and I live on a very quiet street, so not many trick or treaters, and the ones we do get are practically strangers. I do have hundreds of daffodil and tulip bulbs to plant every year, though. And lots of fallen leaves to pick up. (Neither of which is very colorful). But then also Pumpkins, apples, Farmer’s Markets and turning trees. Plus Plaid. So more color - prettier photos - with those things.

I like to scrap both Halloween and Autumn, but I have a lot more Autumn pictures than Halloween. My kids are all teenagers and don't go trick or treating anymore so Halloween isn't quite as fun here in my house anymore. I decorated inside the house a little bit, but nothing really outside this year like I had planned. We don't get any trick-or-treaters here, either.

Here in PA we have a beautiful Autumn. We have lots of beautiful trees that turn all the lovely shades of Autumn. The weather has been great this week. Cool at night and warm enough for shorts during the day.

I'm looking forward to the Halloween Bash. I'm not doing Bingo, though. It's too intense!

Halloween, although my kids and GK are all adults. I stopped giving out candy last year as I didn't want to hop up and down for three hours. I did make my youngest grandson a Halloween pumpkin bucket filled with his favorite candies as he was 17 and "too old" to go trick or treating. I'm going to refill the bucket this year and maybe torture him by making him pose for a photo, lol!!!

I'm in Northern VA, so cooler temps, shorter days and usually colorful trees ... green, red, orange and yellow leaves. When my kids and GK were younger we enjoyed going to the pumpkin patch (slides, hayrides, pony rides, and pumpkins galore) and to corn "maizes" (see what I did there???), along with carving or painting pumpkins. Nowadays I enjoy the photos my nephews post of their children at the pumpkin patch!

Halloween? IDK...my kids don't dress up anymore. But, I live in California and we don't have much of an Autumn here. So, who knows anymore? :giggle

It's weird, we don't celebrate halloween at all and for me it's Spring/Summer now. We don't get the beautiful trees changing colour. We get green and brown.
Autumn feels like relief that the heat of summer is over. This year we seem to have jumped straight from winter to summer. Skipped spring totally.
I am all up for the fun and games of next week though.

Halloween. I absolutely love Halloween-themed kits, and there are so many great Halloween collections in the shop (and I’ve just added a new one to my wish list!). The problem is, I don’t have any new photos: it’s been years since my son dressed up and went trick-or-treating. That said, I will happily rescrap older photos (she says as she tries to justify/rationalize actually purchasing that new Halloween kit that she just added to her wish list…).

That’s too bad the high winds made all the leaves fall. I hope you’re enjoying the fruit harvests Angela; I’m enjoying plums from my mom and finished drying them today.

Your neighborhood sounds awesome for Halloween! We have a hot chocolate house near us and it’s the best!

I love that you do an October daily album! I bet the photos of the changing leaves are so beautiful!

I feel like our trick or treaters are strangers too. Even if I know them I can’t tell who is at my door!

That’s a lot of bulbs to plant!

I like to scrap both too but I’m the opposite and have more Halloween photos.

I’m glad you get to enjoy a beautiful autumn where you live.

First vote for Halloween scrapping! I love that you give your grandson a bucket of candy; I need to remember that for my kids!

I’m sure you’re not the only one in this boat Carrie! ;)

I’m sorry you skipped spring! That’s no fun at all!
