Who has some and who wants to share?!?!?!? Bwahahahaha!

Just curious as to whether everyone just purchases a variety bag or do you purchase your favorite, in case you have leftovers? I was in Wally World and there's too much to choose from so I got what DH & I will snack on since we don't have as many lil' ones coming by anymore.....other than the grandkids!

I got variety bags of stuff I know we will eat if there are leftovers. Then I separated the peanut/butter incase of allergies.

I can't wait to pass out candy!! Our neighborhood really decorates and looks like we will have a nice crowd. :)

We have way too much... as usual. We stock up because DH likes to have a few minis every night while he watches tv. We don't get that many trick-or-treaters, and Kennedy doesn't get candy yet... so it is the adults who eat it.

I bought two huge bags with a variety at Costco today... I waited until today on purpose, b/c if I bought it last week, well, I'd just have to buy more now LOL! I have no willpower. In fact I left them in the car in an effort to deter me from opening them. Our neighborhood gets a TON of trick-or-treaters, people drive here from other areas for it.

I buy what I like. Then I eat it all before Halloween, and have to go get more.

i don't buy any chocolate. my kids always say there isn't enough variety so i buy fruity candy like skittles, dots, etc. i notice when i buy the big bars the kids always take the skittles first - they seem to know the bag is filled with snickers and such!

We do full size Hershey bars. We're the favorite house on the block :)

We get a variety of stuff but it's all something that at least one of us will eat!!!! We always buy WAY too much and always have extra. The boys get so much too and they still have candy the next year at Halloween time!

I don't buy candy at all - because I will eat it. So this year I bought Halloween gummies and peanut butter/cheese cracker packs. I am also planning on giving away all of the candy still sitting in our pantry from last year!

The first few years when we were at home during Halloween, we got around 160+ kids. Here a full-size Hershey bar would cost around $1 on sale, so that would be $160. I just not that committed to Halloween!

Although one of our neighbours also gives out full-sized bars.

We end up buying a big box of mixed choc bars and donate to the church, and they put on a community Hallo-baloo (free admission, lots of inflatables, ball hockey with the local Jr A team, and free bag of candy on the way out the door). Because it is just too darn cold here to be out trick-or-treating. For example, tomorrow night is going to be -16C with the wind chill and scattered flurries. Who wants to go out in that weather?

This year I found lots of cute marshmallow treats and candy necklaces and fun different kinds of things. Plus a few boxes of chocolates for myself.

I didn't buy anything. We're going to a friend's house for trick or treating in her neighborhood (where all of the houses aren't on hurricane stilts!) and I just don't want to leave a bowl out.

We've never gotten that many - usually two Costco boxes does it for us, so we get by for under $50. It's fun though - the kids are either "OOOOHHHHHH!" with big grins on their faces, or telling their friends, "See?? I told you! Full size candy!" At our old house, we had one kid who looked like he was about 18 or 19 who brought his younger brothers by, and told us, "Had to bring them to your house - I used to come here when I was their age!" John just loves that :)

we do not buy any candy, since we are out getting candy no one is home to give it...*L*
and we raid the kids bags after...*hehehe*

sometimes we do buy candy after halloween when it goes real cheap...but rarely
the kdis normally come home with trash bags full on halloween night
our neighborhoods give out tons of stuff

I am madly craving sour patch kids though....my kids better have some!

We buy a box of full size bars at Sam's Club. One box. Last year we had 4 kids stop by that didn't belong to me. Several of my neighbors said my kids were the only ones to stop at their house. So... my 17 year old is going to take his 4 younger siblings out for a little bit. I will stay home and hand out candy... if anyone even stops by.

i just bought a big massive bag of candy and we had 1 lot of trck or treaters oops, looks like gabbi will be bouncing off the ceiling tomorrow

We usually buy a big bag of variety stuff... the one with tootsie roll pops - they are our faves.
