I just pulled out some wood and started a fire, cause brr..it is like 50 degrees outside (hey I can even see snow powdering the shadows of my mountain) and then I started feeling all guilty about my sisters in scrap in snow drifts and sub zero weather!

Ya'll down under feel more guilt at our coldness? Just had my brain wondering.

Ha ha! Don't feel guilty! Think of it like camping... we make fires while camping in the summer time. It's just cozy to do it! :) I just kinda wish I had a fire going now too! I'm cold too. My bed piled high with blankies is calling to me. :)

I feel ya. On Tuesday in Atlanta the high was around 20 and school was cancelled!! No snow, no ice, just cold. I did have to laugh thinking of all you girls that are under feet of snow suffering in the below 0 temps…

50 degrees!!! That would feel like summer here after the week we've had here! :)

Haha, I love that you're building a fire because it's 50! My daughter got out her flip flops yesterday because it was 50! (That's not close to warm enough for flip flops, but it feels practically tropical after our -22 last week!)

Too funny Anne! At the moment we've just been through a week of 40C+ temps (it was at 45C when we were staying at my parents house (113F apparently) so although the amount of snow you are getting is bad, we are suffering at the other end of the scale...

Enjoy your snow and cosy fires!

How I wish we were hitting anything close to 50! I am still freezing here!

extreme apologies now, much to warm for fire! lol windows open and heavy duty spring cleaning to get the sickies out of the house, without a dryer...argh...hubs is putting up a clothes line for me, so I have back up. Waiting for parts for dryer and fingers crossed that works...but I am a woman that has always loved my clothes line, and like my dryer for back up.
no more fires til next winter! woo hoo
