My hubby and I bought some Cubs tickets for our kids’ school auction a few weeks ago and the game was last night at Wrigley Field. I took a couple pictures and posted them on facebook at the beginning of the game and then about watching the game. In about the 3rd inning I noticed a Facebook message pop up on my phone from @tkradtke saying she was at the game too! What are the odds? So we were able to meet in person finally! So fun!!!

Yay!! That was so fun to meet you last night @Karen! Sorry we couldn't stay... turns out that Clara is legit sick... fever of 102.9 this morning. It was a great night for a ballgame... glad you got to see a win!! If you go again this season, just let me know... there's a chance we'll be there too!
 
Aw. I'm sorry she's got such a high fever. That is no fun at all! I hope it doesn't turn into anything serious! Not a great way to start the weekend.

It was like the perfect night at the ballpark last night. I was expecting to be freezing cold all night long and it was just beautiful! No wind, perfect temps and the game was great too! I was super happy they won and didn't need to go into extra innings! I'm already rather tired this morning. We got home at 1:00am! :giggle

I will definitely let you know if we go back again. My hubby really wants to take my boys to a game too, but they just aren't very interested in sitting and WATCHING the game. We go to the South Bend Cubs games instead, because it's closer and cheaper and they have stuff that the kids want to do there, like a bunch of bounce houses and a splash pad. Not exactly anything to do with actual baseball. Lol.
