Seems like forever since I've done this so lets do one holiday style!

What's your favorite part of the holidays?

Least favorite?

What do you hope Santa brings you?

What gift are you most excited to give?

Do you serve any special meals? If so, what?

Are you going to bake? What?

What's your favorite part of the holidays? Watching the kids faces on Christmas morning.

Least favorite? People other than my husband giving me gifts.

What do you hope Santa brings you? I was hoping for a new fancy treadmill, but now that I have to spend $1000 on this busted pipe problem, I'm not hopeful.

What gift are you most excited to give? My daughter thinks she's getting about $100 worth of stuff from her Amazon wish list, but we actually got her a MacBook Air (she needs one for school and hopefully eventually college). She has NO IDEA. I can't wait.

Do you serve any special meals? If so, what? Not really. Same ole stuff.

Are you going to bake? What? I'm hoping to make some cookies, but considering I don't even have a tree yet, things aren't looking great. I did finish shopping and wrapping, though, so maybe?

What's your favorite part of the holidays? Spending time with my niece.

Least favorite? She's been sick so we're not sure we will see her.

What do you hope Santa brings you? A well niece would make our holiday.

What gift are you most excited to give? We don't do a lot of gifts. We did get my niece the few things she wanted.

Do you serve any special meals? If so, what? Fresh turkey

Are you going to bake? What? Gingerbread cake with a cinnamon nutmeg frosting

What's your favorite part of the holidays? Christmas Dinner and hanging out with my little family playing games

Least favorite? all the lead up to it. . . not into Christmas but once it gets here I'm fine

What do you hope Santa brings you? There is just me so whatever I buy myself. . .wow, that sounds sad doesn't it?

What gift are you most excited to give? My parents aren't expecting anything as we agreed to just kids this year but I am going to get them a GC to a restaurant they really like. Also hoping the coat I bought my son is the one he wanted (he has no clue it's coming).

Do you serve any special meals? If so, what? Turkey dinner, the usual

Are you going to bake? What? I will be baking something for our work lunch, peppermint chocolate bark

What's your favorite part of the holidays?
The very start of it... our traditions start Thanksgiving night. I love the stuff we do over Thanksgiving weekend, because it's all of the fun without any of the chaotic reality of the season yet.

Least favorite?
Shopping in crowds.

What do you hope Santa brings you?
A color printer. :-)

What gift are you most excited to give?
A 75 page gift album I made for my parents of the pictures from the 11 day road trip we went on together this summer. I can't even talk about it with my mom... it's making me crazy! I can't wait to give it to them!

Do you serve any special meals? If so, what?
Our one special food tradition is Land of Nod cinnamon buns on Christmas morning (you put everything in a bundt pan the night before and pop it in the oven the next morning).

Are you going to bake? What?
I'm not much of a baker... but my daughter is hosting a cookie decorating party on Friday. I'll have to bake for that, but nothing fancy.

What's your favorite part of the holidays? I love Christmas Eve service at church, and the coziness of being around the house with family.

Least favorite? spending money.

What do you hope Santa brings you? I'm not super sure. There are a few odds and ends things I like. Although I would love a new vacuum cleaner (super exciting, right there, folks!), a new couch, a new kitchen table, and 2 new bedroom suits...that's not too much to ask, is it? For whatever reason, all of our furniture has begun to fail all at the same time. *sigh*

What gift are you most excited to give? Since I have only 4 bought so far, I don't have many to choose from at the moment :giggle I am planning on getting my son some comic books he really wants, so maybe that? Or I MIGHT break down and finally get my oldest a cell phone. so maybe that? i don't know!

Do you serve any special meals? If so, what? We don't have a set tradition for meals for Christmas. The kids love some kind of sweet bread in the mornings, and hubby loves omelettes. Other than that, whatever sounds good. Maybe a ham. Or maybe hot dogs *lol*

Are you going to bake? What? I LOVE holiday baking! The only problem is there's never very much time for it! Also, hubby is diabetic, and my daughter is a sugar junkie, so i TRY not to keep too much of it in the house at any given time (yes, even Christmas). We will for sure make our hamburger cookies, though! I can't imagine a Christmas where I could ever even think about skipping those!! And probably a few other types of cookies as well... maybe some breads.

What's your favorite part of the holidays?
Opening gifts with the family in the morning and seeing the kids' excitement and joy.

Least favorite?
Being far too busy with the preparations. Both boys are December babies, so I'm shopping and preparing for Christmas and birthdays. Sigh! December is too busy in our house.

What do you hope Santa brings you?
A new oven/stove would be great. And a microwave, since ours is dead and living without a microwave is a real pain.

What gift are you most excited to give?
The fleece pajamas for the boys. They will end up wearing them all day until we go to my sister's for dinner. And also some cool new hoodies for the boys.

Do you serve any special meals? If so, what?
We have a potluck dinner, I always bring the perohi (perogies), and my sister brings kutya (a traditional Ukrainian wheat + honey + poppyseed dish that is served first) and najinka (a cornmeal + bacon casserole), and also we have turkey and all the regular trimmings.

Are you going to bake? What?
Swedish gingerbread cookies, yum! Made with grated orange peel from my parents' oranges - they bring them when they fly home from Arizona for Christmas.

What's your favorite part of the holidays? Watching the kids open their gifts and the many family gatherings that we have/attend.

Least favorite? Taking down the ornaments from the tree

What do you hope Santa brings you? Santa already brought my new iPhone just this past weekend

What gift are you most excited to give? My son a canvas for his wall of a photo he took this past summer at Philmont

Do you serve any special meals? If so, what? Family meal the weekend before Christmas (this year ham and multiple casseroles/veggies/potatoes), homemade pizza on Christmas Eve

Are you going to bake? What? Family cookie baking day is this Wednesday. There will be oatmeal raisin, oatmeal butterscotch, Russian tea cookies, Chocolate Bliss cookies and some dairy free pumpkin cookies

What's your favorite part of the holidays? seeing the kids' faces in the morning & gathering w/family

Least favorite? all the cooking & ginoroumous amount of cleanup/dishes

What do you hope Santa brings you? the mr. and i usually don't swap gifts , its all about the kids (once in awhile we do but not this year) and in reality i AM the "santa" in this house.

What gift are you most excited to give? my kids usually have a list but i love giving them the little surprise finds that i get for them, things they are not expecting

Do you serve any special meals? If so, what? we usually do a huge italian feast for christmas

Are you going to bake? What? not sure. 2 years ago we stopped buying milk, eggs, meat and are mostly a plant based diet household ... baking without eggs is a thing all its own. there's a few recipes on pinterest i have marked to try ... i will probably give one or two of them a try for the sake of my cookie loving kids.

What's your favorite part of the holidays?
The food..lol. I love all the cookies and cakes. And I love spending time with my family making them.

Least favorite?
I love giving gifts but I hate the shopping part of it.

What do you hope Santa brings you?
I really want a wifi sd card. I pull that sucker out of my camera on pretty much a daily basis (often times more than once a day). I'd just love to make that little part of my day easier.

What gift are you most excited to give?
LOL I'm still shopping (see procrastinating on it)...Not sure yet.

Do you serve any special meals? If so, what?
There is always an appetizer buffet Christmas Eve. It's just small, crackers, cheese, fruit, and of course cookies if it's just the three of us. If it's my whole family it's potluck and the spread is ridiculous.

Are you going to bake? What?
Yup...cookies for sure (sugar & chocolate chip are traditional for us and probably a batch of oatmeal butterscotch). And I'm going to help DD make some little candy Christmas trees for one of her advent activities.

Aren't they cute???

What's your favorite part of the holidays? my children's excitement

Least favorite? the bills

What do you hope Santa brings you? peace & calm

What gift are you most excited to give? iphones for 2 of my boys - they can then stop fighting over the phone they are currently sharing and I will hopefully get that peace & calm ;)

Do you serve any special meals? If so, what? christmas dinner is king crab legs - yum!

Are you going to bake? What? yes - I have to provide the sweet treat for my daughter's class - egg, gluten & nut free - so thinking I will go with caramel corn. I used to bake a ton during the holidays and miss doing it but have been too busy (and my booty doesn't need it, lol!)https://the-lilypad.com//www.pinterest.com/pin/create/extension/

What's your favorite part of the holidays? I love the candlelight service on Christmas Eve at church and singing Silent Night. I also really love having 10+ days off work at home with my family and getting to stay up late and sleep in late in the mornings. :)

Least favorite? The added pressure and all the extra busyness that comes with shopping and parties and extra activities.

What do you hope Santa brings you? I have a couple art journaling books on my Amazon wishlist that I'm really hoping for.

What gift are you most excited to give? The pile of fishing stuff I bought for my hubby. I spoiled him rotten this year! :)

Do you serve any special meals? If so, what? We usually do lasagna because it's easy for dinner, but I love to make something fun for Christmas morning breakfast. One year I did Santa clause pancakes with cherry pie filling for the hat and the whipped cream for the trim, etc. Then one year I made baked french toast that I made the night before and popped in the oven that morning.

Are you going to bake? What? Not likely, but I was hoping to make cookies with my boys.
