- Are you watching World Cup? or Wimbledon? World Cup for sure... bits and pieces of tennis...

- Did you play sports as a child or teenager? If so, what? did a lot as a wee one (ballet, gymnastics, softball, swimming, basketball, soccer) but ended up sticking with soccer until college

- If you could play any sport, naturally, what would it be and why? love soccer... just cuz i do.

- Did you children inherit any abilities from you (or DH) that are noticeable already? not sure completely but i can say that DD2's gift is her body - she can simply watch someone do something one time (ie a flip turn at the wall at 5 years old) and imitate it exactly - think some of that is from DH. DD1 definitely got the artistic stuff, but we think it came from BIL.

- Did you children inherit any abilities from you (or DH) that are noticeable already? Lulu loves baseball and she can't wait to play, we make JT play, but I wouldn't say it comes naturally to him. DH was a skater, rollerblader, & extreme bike rider, in San Francisco, crazy man, and LuLu tends to take after him when it comes to the no fear thing.

- Are you watching World Cup? or Wimbledon? no, i don't watch tv much at all

- Did you play sports as a child or teenager? If so, what? softball, track, cross country, horseback riding, golf and tennis

- If you could play any sport, naturally, what would it be and why? tennis because i just love it

- Did you children inherit any abilities from you (or DH) that are noticeable already? DD1 has my freaky speed reading abilities and DD2 is a great swimmer and part fish, just like my DH

- Did you play sports as a child or teenager? If so, what? yes. I played softball and basketball and also rode horses in dressage and hunter/jumper competitions

- If you could play any sport, naturally, what would it be and why? equestrian events..horses are magnificent. oooh or swimming. because it's fabulous exercise that I can do until I'm old and shriveled

- Did you children inherit any abilities from you (or DH) that are noticeable already? hmmm..hard to say. I haven't seen any yet. not sure athletics is going to be Bugga's bag

- Did you play sports as a child or teenager? If so, what? I was just a big fan of my friends and brother's teams.

- If you could play any sport, naturally, what would it be and why? Um, I've never even wanted to play sports. I'm so bad at all of them!
- Did you children inherit any abilities from you (or DH) that are noticeable already? My niece Taylor is clumsy and has no coordination. I think she takes after me!

- Did you play sports as a child or teenager? If so, what? no not a one, unfortunately. I actually took band to avoid taking PE. Too shy to change in front of people. Lame, I know.

- If you could play any sport, naturally, what would it be and why? I really want to play tennis and have taken lessons but never stuck with it. Might start up again since there is a tennis club right around the corner.

- Did you children inherit any abilities from you (or DH) that are noticeable already? Sports wise? No. DH was/is very athletic and played baseball all through school. But DS is not athletic and really isn't in to sports. He will be more intellectual I think. Which he inherited from me, btw.

- Did you play sports as a child or teenager? If so, what? I was on the bowling, swim, volleyball, and softball teams all throughout school and before I had kids.

- If you could play any sport, naturally, what would it be and why? I still love all the sports I played in school.

- Did your children inherit any abilities from you (or DH) that are noticeable already? One son is very athletic and played in all sports. The other....well we call him the loner. He's more a one-on-one type of person. Don't know where he got that from.

- Did you play sports as a child or teenager? If so, what? Yes. Volleyball and basketball.

- If you could play any sport, naturally, what would it be and why? Ice Skating. I think it is something about the music and outfits?

- Did you children inherit any abilities from you (or DH) that are noticeable already? Does my temper count? My oldest daughter has what we refer to as an 'Engineering' personality, which a combination (exponentially) of mine and DH's genetics.
 
- Are you watching World Cup? or Wimbledon? Neither - not really into watching sports on t.v. and hubby isn't really into sports either!

- Did you play sports as a child or teenager? If so, what? Played recreational soccer, did some track, and volleyball and basketball - but none in highschool (unless you call Dutch Dancing a sport!)

- If you could play any sport, naturally, what would it be and why? I think it would be gymnastics - like Olympian I am talking!

- Did you children inherit any abilities from you (or DH) that are noticeable already? Hmmm...I know they have, just can't pin a one of them down right now! I do call my oldest daughter a "fish" and that is what I was called too - in regards to swimming!

- Did you play sports as a child or teenager? If so, what? I did gymnastics till I was 12. Then I became and have stayed awkward, lol.

- If you could play any sport, naturally, what would it be and why? Gymnastics was way fun. I loved flipping and flying.

- Did you children inherit any abilities from you (or DH) that are noticeable already? My third is really big in to wrestling but he really would be good at any sport. He has inherited my husbands intensity which serves him well.

- If you could play any sport, naturally, what would it be and why? I don't really have any sport aspirations any longer :p

Are you watching World Cup? or Wimbledon? I am trying to watch the World Cup when I can..it's been super busy with my older boys home from school and VBS driving/volunteering. DH has been loving it though! Lots of long lunches for him lately :)

- Did you play sports as a child or teenager? If so, what? a year of tennis, a year of softball and cheerleading...I was never really good at any of it sadly.

- If you could play any sport, naturally, what would it be and why? I love baseball..I wish I was better at it. 3 of my (girl) cousins went to college on softball scholarships, I had to get student loans :)

- Did you children inherit any abilities from you (or DH) that are noticeable already? My oldest is pretty good in Little League, he really loves pitching. Connor, my middle so is fast so he may have inherited that from DH (he ran in college) and he's great at soccer. We love watching their soccer and baseball games! Soooo much fun!

If you could play any sport, naturally, what would it be and why? Snow skiing, I think it would be fun.

Did your children inherit any abilities from you (or DH) that are noticeable already? Yes, my son looks like me, but is so much a little version of DH. They both play football exactly he same and they both have a thing for trivia and facts and figures. DD just walks to her own beat.
 
- Are you watching World Cup? or Wimbledon? World Cup is on in our home...I'm watching some of the games...but one of my boys tapes all the games and watches them at night.

- Did you play sports as a child or teenager? If so, what? I swam a lot. I did a year of softball, a year of basketball, but it really wasn't my thing.

- If you could play any sport, naturally, what would it be and why? swimming. I love it, and I don't sweat in the pool! LOL!!

- Did you children inherit any abilities from you (or DH) that are noticeable already? DH has an interest and love for sports, but not a real ability. Three of my boys love to watch sports, but only one is really an athlete. He was also an amazing swimmer when he was young (which he got from me because dh can't swim!). Three got their ability to procrastinate from both their dh and me...which is not a good thing. Three love to read, and I know they got their interest in Sci-fi from their dad but both of us love books. My youngest was a voracious reader just like I was when I was little. My younger two love to be creative and do artsy things...even though they aren't artistic...so they got that from me. I'm not artistic either, but I've always loved making things. It was never "this is a girls thing" either...they could do whatever they were interested in. Once it was knitting, so I went and bought them all the stuff and we tried to learn together!

- Did you play sports as a child or teenager? If so, what? As a kid I was a fish, my parents could get me out of the water. I also rode horses daily. Didn't take lessons until Jr. High, but really just liked trail riding. In High school I ran track and was pretty good at that, but anything that required coordination... I was (and still am) horrible at.

- If you could play any sport, naturally, what would it be and why? I'd rather skip sports altogether be able to do something like play piano wonderfully or paint amazing pictures.

- Did you children inherit any abilities from you (or DH) that are noticeable already? My oldest son has inherited my love of anything and everything creative. My youngest is going to be great at sports... just like his daddy.

- Did you play sports as a child or teenager? If so, what? I don't know if any of you consider cheerleading a sport, but if you do, (lol) I was a cheerleader in high school. That's it. I'm not athletic.

- If you could play any sport, naturally, what would it be and why? I would love to be good at volleyball or softball so I could join a league in the summer and get out of the house. :D

- Did you children inherit any abilities from you (or DH) that are noticeable already? That's hard to tell, they are still pretty little.

- Did you children inherit any abilities from you (or DH) that are noticeable already? acctually yes, im a reader, my 5 yr old can read on a second grade level ( mini chapter books and tell you what happened), hubby is a mechanic and my 5 yr old can take things apart and put them back together in the right way LOL he also knows every part of the car and what tools are needed to fix the part, its quite amazing to see a child who was actually 4 when he taught himself to read and how he picked up on mechanical things that even I dont undeerstand
he can also tell you the names of weapons and what they are used for LOL ( hubby was in the military SO he thinks starting the youngin early will make for a 5th generation solider LOL), so he gets the facination with the military from my husband lol
my older kids well they tend toward the dramatic and im rightfully proud of that LOL:heartslub
