GTKY for Friday....

1. what is your favorite animal (doesn't have to be of the pet variety necessarily) and why? I love all kinds of cats... so not only the "normal" cats, also tigers, lions and stuff like that :) I love their personality too much :giggle

2. do you set your thermostat in your abode and forget it? or do you tinker when you get hot and/or cold? set and forget it a lot

3. are you a shoe lover? is your closet overflowing with shoes or do you have a few trusty favorites? I adore shoes... there is no more place for new shoes in this house LooL but i still could get some new ones :D

4. do you have family photos (layouts count) on your walls at home? lots, a few in one spot or none? share a pic! I`m always used to put a lot of photos on my walls. i love to see them every day. so i have photos everywhere here
 
I'm a day late and a dollar short again! I guess I'm destined to never be on time!

probably the giraffe. They are so graceful and elegant looking. I could watch them for hours.

I hardly ever touch it...it stays in the off position. If it gets really hot, I'll turn the AC on for a bit...or the heater if it gets super cold, but here in SoCal our house stays perfect most of the time.

I'm totally a shoe lover, and if I had better feet that were easier to fit, I'd have even more shoes. As it is now, my closet is overflowing.

4. do you have family photos (layouts count) on your walls at home? lots, a few in one spot or none? share a pic!

Just one area upstairs between my boys' rooms. My bil took photos of my boys playing soccer one year and had them framed for us for Christmas. I love them!

I absolutely love moose! When I met my hubby, it was at Halloween and he was dressed up as a moose. When he proposed to me, he bought me a stuffed moose, stuck the ring on the antler and asked me. Ever since then, I have loved moose.

My hubby deals with the thermostat.

Nope. I have five pair of different kinds of Birkenstocks that I wear everywhere!!

Yes, we have family photos everywhere. I would share a pic, but it would take up so much space here. LOL
 
Renee, did you know there are dogs that don't shed? :) Also at least one kind that doesn't have dander, so people aren't allergic to it. Anyway, random bits of info there, LOL. :)

Giraffes. :) I love how graceful they are, and how funny they look when they run. I used to work at a zoo (a LOOOOOOOONG time ago) and I got to keep 'guard' for a couple of baby giraffes when they were kind of orphaned by their mother, so that was cool. :)

I have certain times of the day that I change it, but it's always at the SAME times of day, if that makes sense. If one of the boys is sleeping or it's night time, I set it at 68. Otherwise it's at 72 if everyone is awake. :)

Uhm, my closet is literally overflowing with shoes. However, I only wear about 3 pairs of them with any kind of regularity! Probably time to purge...

No, I'm an awful mommy and have NO photos up! I have big intentions of getting some photos made into canvas and hanging them, but it just hasn't happened yet. I used to have tons on the walls at our old house, but since we moved (2 years ago, LOL) I haven't put a single one out!
 
if you feed most dogs a raw diet (well, cats, too), they typically don't shed and their dander goes down to relatively nothing... and their poops are fabulous, if you could imagine.

wow really? like raw meat? more details please! i'm not a dog person really, but my son really wants one. i do not like pet hair/dander, so this is intriguing. and better poops, yeah, that would be cool.

I love dogs, especially my little pug. I didn't like them at all when I was growing up but now I'm crazy for them.

I never touch it.

My closet has tons of shoes that I never wear! I mostly wear converse - especially in the summer. I have 8 pairs!

We have lots of them all over the place. :) And I just framed some more.

We have been debating getting another one, I've been putting it off because it was so horrible when we lost our last dog, but the boys are ready.

2. do you set your thermostat in your abode and forget it? We leave it at 75 almost all year round unless it gets cold here. I don't dare go below that or we get $600 electric bills and I'm scared DH would have a coronary.

3. are you a shoe lover? is your closet overflowing with shoes or do you have a few trusty favorites? I love shoes! However, I wear the same 3 pairs over and over. I have a pair of running shoes and 2 pairs of flip flops in my rotation. I can't remember the last time I bought a pair of heels.

4. do you have family photos (layouts count) on your walls at home? I don't beleive we have any of the 4 of us, which is terrible. I have tons of individual pictures of everyone (except me) all over the house. Just none of the 6 of us. I need to fix that!
