Does anyone have one? Can you tell me about them? Since I lost my dog Patience in July I've been looking at other service dog prospects and a great Pyrenees came up ... would be great for my mobility issues and balance help... but I know little on the breed except they are huge dogs

I know nothing about dogs so I’m no help but I hope you get the information you need!

All I know is that a friend of mine from my college days had one. She took it into nursing homes to visit the residents. It was a great comfort to her as well when she went thru her first round of breast cancer. It passed away before her second occurrence which took her life. I'm sure he was there waiting for her. They were inseparable.

I don't know much about that breed. I'd suggest maybe joining a few FB groups if you are on there and get acquainted with owners that may be a better help!!

My sister had one, it was a sweet dog, but she said the long fur got everywhere!

So sorry to hear about Patience, sending hugs.

Well we decided to go a different route .. and a sweet 7 month old chocolate lab/pit mix joined our family last night. Bianca went and got him from his foster and he is home. He'll start training right away and be waiting for me to continue when I return home.

His name is Everest Bean.. we will call him Mr. BEAN for short ...

Bianca says he is a real snuggle butt and super cute. He has the deepest green eyes ever

I can't wait to meet him
