A new Surface pro 3 to be exact. And I big fat fluffy heart LOVE it!!! This will be my work tablet/computer as I begin my new journey, and I couldn't be happier !! just thought I would share some love. :heartslub:beat:heartlub

Oooooh, sounds amazing! You'll have to tell us all about it as you get to play with it. I can only dream of it right now, but someday!

Oh, I love new toys! Congrats! Let us know how you love it.

How fun! I have been eyeballing those for months now. I thought it would be super cool to be able to load Photoshop on one of those puppies and scrap on once in awhile! Congrats on your new toy! :)

I have never heard of it and have no idea what it is so link me up. I need to be in the know. Congrats on the new toy.

I just googled it. I feel like an 'off-worlder' right now... Not reconizing the name, shame on you.
Once I saw the pictures, knew it though!

:wooot Congrats and have fun with it! :heartslub

I had to google it too....how amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!!

now you telling me you can actually scrap on it?
it cost a lot less than getting a new mac here in Lodnon, the Surface is under£800, a new Mac would cost me over £1100....

I was wondering about one of those for the boy when he goes off to school, so much more compact than a laptop. How are you enjoying it?

My son has one and it's really a cute little computer. If I wasn't a Mac girl, I'd be soooo tempted.

Sorry, I sort of fell of the face of the digital earth for a few days while I studied for (and passed!!!) my state licensing exam!!

For those of you who were wanting links... here ya go:

Now the update... I LOVE it!!
It's smaller and compact like a tablet, runs aps like a tablet, touch screen, and screen orientation like a tablet.
And then it also runs Windows 8.1, as a full operating system, which allows for fully functioning office products and so forth. I got the version that has the i5 processor and 256K storage...there's an even beefier version, as well as a not-quite-as-beefy version.
I'm finding the more I play around with it and gain familiarity, the more and more I love it. Some of the maneuvering takes a bit of adjusting, but it's a quick learning curve really. And so far, it has worked perfectly for work and play. I think one thing I love most about it is not having to shut it down (like you would a laptop) to travel with it. It has a great sleep mode - no weird glitchy quirks. And so far, a great battery life. I charge it over night, and during the day it barely runs down to 1/2 battery.

My only maybe complaint is that there is no CTRL button on the right side of the keyboard, and there's no 10-key. I'm a big keyboard commands person, and I have had to adjust to that. I've hit the wrong button on the right side several times by reaching for the ctrl key out of habit. :)
