Sorry, I sort of fell of the face of the digital earth for a few days while I studied for (and passed!!!) my state licensing exam!!
For those of you who were wanting links... here ya go:

Now the update... I LOVE it!!
It's smaller and compact like a tablet, runs aps like a tablet, touch screen, and screen orientation like a tablet.
And then it also runs Windows 8.1, as a full operating system, which allows for fully functioning office products and so forth. I got the version that has the i5 processor and 256K storage...there's an even beefier version, as well as a not-quite-as-beefy version.
I'm finding the more I play around with it and gain familiarity, the more and more I love it. Some of the maneuvering takes a bit of adjusting, but it's a quick learning curve really. And so far, it has worked perfectly for work and play. I think one thing I love most about it is not having to shut it down (like you would a laptop) to travel with it. It has a great sleep mode - no weird glitchy quirks. And so far, a great battery life. I charge it over night, and during the day it barely runs down to 1/2 battery.
My only maybe complaint is that there is no CTRL button on the right side of the keyboard, and there's no 10-key. I'm a big keyboard commands person, and I have had to adjust to that. I've hit the wrong button on the right side several times by reaching for the ctrl key out of habit.
