I'm excited this morning because my husband just found out he gets to move from night shift to day shift! We also have had no homework because of testing, and that makes our evenings better. It's raining today, and I love the rain. I listened to it all night.

So, what's good in your life today? What is making you smile or happy today?

I made it back to the pad after a busy two months and I’ve cleared me schedule tomorrow and Saturday so I can scrap my little heart out and hang out here at the pad :)

both of these and that hubby said he would take care of feeding the fam so I can have a scrappin weekend! :yesss:yippee:winner:woohoo:woot
He's the best!!!!

I have an event to attend on Saturday (Revolutionary War Days at Mount Vernon), the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival and Virtual JaneCon (Jane Austen fan stuff) to attend online over the weekend, our district document shredding event for the first time in a year on Saturday, and other events to register for BESIDES iNSD! Whew! So, I'm trying to scrap all that I can now and I'll fill in during the cracks in events!

iNSD is starting and this year, Olivia is moving her desktop so she's sitting behind me at Jay's desk.

We placed our grocery order so we have some healthy (and some not-so-healthy) snacks and quick meals for Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday.

I'm gonna be scrapping live and I always love hanging with my friend @bestcee :agree. I also get to scrap live with Britt on Monday night with the new Project Mouse collection, so that will be fun!

Today (Friday) I am helping at the Aged Care facility where I volunteer mostly on Thursdays. They are having a "Biggest Morning Tea" which is an annual event to raise money for Cancer research.
so, I am happy to be able to go and help with this event as I enjoy being with these elderly people.

That's awesome! Welcome back! Hopefully, it's a good busy and not a frustrating busy.

We planted Italian Oregano and Sweet Basil on Thursday last week :) Strawberries and Basil. Yum!
Oh! I need to plant some basil. I put some tomato starts in the ground, but I'm worried it's too early.

The sun is shining today. After our area got 8 inches of rain yesterday, the sun is a welcome sight.
I bet! Sun after rain is always so nice!

Yeah for being able to go back!! You were worried about that. I'm so glad you are back.
