So, middle of the month. Did you make any goals or resolutions? Are you working on them? Or have you put them away for now?
If you aren't the goal/resolution type, do you have anything you want to learn or practice this year?

My goals are simple: take a photo a day, use my nifty fifty lens at least weekly, and get a work out habit going.
The first two I'm golden. The third? It's a work in progress. I have a plan that so far is working, but it doesn't feel like a habit yet!

I don't make resolutions, except to never make them. haha! As far as goals to date, the only one I have is to complete the MOC challenges, then put my house back together after the renovations are done. I don't think I can handle anything else right now!

YES! I prepared for this year with a brand new big Art Journal, Hubster gifted a big Planner
( guess I'm diving in after all), and I converted the little planner I hadn't used to a Prayer Journal.

These are helping me stay on course so far!:yup

I usually don't make resolutions, but more something to improve myself. One year (a long time ago) it was to wear my seatbelt every time I drove ... before it was the law. Another was to give up gum... I was a huge gum chewer, and it bothered my gastro. Another was to drink 8 glasses of water a day. More just slight improvements. A harder one that is a constant one is to say yes more.

One year was to be a little more helpful, with a smile on my face at work. That is still a work in progress, lol!

This year, I haven't really decided as of yet. But, I have time, and will accomplish something. Might be small, but it will be an improvement. Maybe to give up evening snacks after 8, if I'm at home. Or to walk more than usual, so it becomes habit. Not sure yet.

I will finish all the layouts of Month of Challenges BEFORE the deadline.

I will continue to lose weight by altering my eating habits and including exercise.

I will stop talking to myself negatively (either up in my head or out loud . . . you know, simple things like "that was so stupid, Cheryl, why did you do that?).

So far, I'm hanging in here!

The goals are not going so well here, unfortunately.

I have yet to pick up my big camera, which I wanted to do at least weekly.
I've been to the gym once and I think that was a day or two before the new year.
We have had something going on every single day and it just hasn't worked out at all. DS is doing MACC (Mountain Academic Competition Conference) and it's eating a way at a lot of our after school time right now. So between that, work, MOC, and two granddaughters' birthdays, I haven't done much else.
I am drinking more water throughout the day, so there's that.

My goal is to finish MOC by the deadline and keep up! So far I am doing great and having time each day to work on the challenges! I'm also finding other scrapping time, so that's great too!

Once MOC is done, I need to work more on trip planning! We are going back to WDW this fall! We haven't officially been there since 2012 (we stayed nearby after our Disney cruise in Nov, and went to Disney Springs. But for parks, we went to Universal Studios instead). Lots of planning in my future! Also, my oldest is a senior this year. While we started the year out on a good note as far as everything that has to be done for College....we've slacked off! I have a big list of stuff that needs to get done ASAP. Also, I want to scrap a school album for her, and I feel slightly behind. I need to go through each year's photos and scrap 1 school layout a week or something!

I don't have resolutions but goals for the year....just went to peek what I had written over here.

1. Personal - Prayer/Bible time first thing every morning no matter what! Also, I'm trying to do this 30 days of nothing negative towards or about my husband and a word of encouragement every day. So far I've done 4 days! I may try to make it a year long goal....eeek!

Going strong here! There was one day where I was a little on edge with hubby and I blame it on that time of the month...but that's not an excuse.

2. Home - Fix wall in the living room and paint (we had a roof leak earlier this year and our drywall is all messed up). After that is done get custom bookshelves installed. Saving money for the project is the goal...and then getting it going. We've literally been talking about it for 6 months and neither my hubby or I have done anything about it! I think my goal will be to get the ball rolling.

Well, drywall guy is supposed to call us this week...at least that's what our builder said. So I guess we've gotten the ball rolling.

3. Business - Re-do my blog. This is something I've been wanting to do for a long time but it just seems so daunting...but I really want to do it. So I think it's going on my list.

Haven't even thought about this yet.

I don't make resolutions; I choose a word for the year (or, rather, it usually chooses me) and see where it takes me.

My word this year is "prevail," and so far, I am! I am eating better & have worked out every day since the 2nd. I am mostly keeping up with MOC and have a kid-free weekend in 2 days to get caught up completely. I am starting wellness coaching soon and have some good leads on some freelance writing opportunities. I submitted a chapbook of poetry to a national contest earlier this month and am waiting to hear back if I am a finalist.
